an auto V6 is slow Why didnt you know??? Please, a GT is V8 and is only a little faster, $10,000 more and all it has are different wheels and duals and a little bit bigger engine. I bet this trash talker cant even drive stick, what a chump. I'd smoke his *** anyday in my dads Dodge Ram. I HATE MUSTANGS ESPECIALLY STOCK PONIES THAT EVERYONES MOMMA IN THE WORLD OWNS!!!! and as for the gt i was talking about it could have been auto cause i killed it off the line maybe i have not raced i five speed one and im talking about the new 2001 and up gt's that are fast stock but i raced one of those stock and it was 5 spd and i had three pople in my car the guy in the back being 240lb and he had 2 in his car and he only beat me by about 2 1/2 car lengths every time and that is not to bad for all that i had on my car at the time that is why i say i will beat one of them soon enough and as for our cars not being near as fast as a gt i know a guy that has a fully built gsr with type r enternals a jackson racing super charger and some bolt ons and he has not lost a race yet and i have seen him race svt's and beat them bad

What car do you drive? Because unless you have an ungodly FWD car, there's no way in HELL you'd beat ANY GT off the line. RWD is greater than FWD all day in a launching situation.

And if your friend races his GSR an JRSC and beats SC'd SVT mustangs, then you're just full of ****, or the guy in the mustang was missing both his arms.

ryan your mustang is not even close to a american big block an american big block would first of all be a v8 and not your shitty ford 3.8 liter(which is weak *** hell anyway) 3.8 liters is under 200 cubic inches and last tim i checked a big block was 500 cubic inches. Not even a gt stang has close to what would be considered a big block. Take a ride in my friends dads 33 Ford vicky 3 window with a 502 CHEVY and i gauantee you will **** your pants when your accelerating past other cars sliding sideways. And if you consider your peice of **** a big block why would you be braggin about beatin an 4 banger. My friend has a v6 stang and thinks its fast and lost to me in my vic-and its an auto, a saturn view, and my friends lifted silverado on 35's hahahahaha now try to talk about american big block power-- you still wouldnt have an idea if it slapped you in the side of the head

My buddy has a v6 stang, lowered, KnN filter drop, and true dual exhaust... He beats me badly Maybe i need to learn how to drive better or something, but the thing is pretty fast (when in comparison to my civic)

hate to break it to ya, but anytime you beat a more powerful car off the line is either cause you have AWD which you don't or like usual they baby it off the line to avoid lighting up the tires. They do this cause, its easier on the clutch and tires, and they know there gonna fly past you in 3 seconds anyways.

See with the 240sx he doesn't have enough torque to really have to worry about traction. But a GT is a completely different car.

You do know that big block and small block were just the physical description of the block. Since they have small and big block variants with the same displacement. Ones just physically smaller than the other.

Ok this is way late but i gotta say a few words.
first that ryanstang guy claimed that a stock gt runs 13's.... sure untill he wakes up.
a stock '94 gt with 215 hp is 0-60 in 6.6 and 1/4 mile in 15 seconds ( which is lame for a v8).
I don't know the newer mustang specs (mostly because they don't interest me) but they aren't that much faster.
the mustang he got his specs mixed up with is the 2000+ Cobra R. with 385 hp it does the 1/4 mile in 13.2 seconds. Its 0-60 is a pretty fast 4.6 .

if the 94 GT's get 15's in the 1/4 then why is it unbelivable that i beat one up to 85 cause i did not know what year it was all i saw was 4.6 gt tag on the side fender

Because the 4.6 liter came out in 1996 if I remember correctly, and none were any slower than mid 14's stock. You will run HIGH 15's stock at best. Even the 94 GT would run high 14's stock. There's no way in hell you beat a new 4.6 liter GT to 85.

The sad thing is, you had to compare your V6 against an in-line 4 cylinder. Your Mustang must really be slow.
