Rep Power: 0 kill: 03 si vs a new porche boxter
iight here we go, i was on the way back from fontana speed way in cali and on the free way i saw a porche boxter so i pulled up right next to him/her and stayed beside him/her.
we were going 65-70mph. i see the porche drop gear and try to take off so i do the same, the porche gassed it firs so it took a little jump on me, then i start catching up slowly but surely. i passed the porce at 105 mph i went to 110 and was about a car infront of him/her, after that i let go of gas and was like hell YEAH, porche that cost hella mulla got smoked buy a little civic hatch back that cost half the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SI mods
-hondata flash
-hondata heatsheild gasket
-AEM CAI

Rep Power: 376 Boxster S or not, try again. He gave up and you did a ricer fly by and claimed your "victory". Even a non "S" boxster will run well faster than your hatchback with hondata flash and intake. Big time BS here. or you just didn't realize he wasn't really trying.

Rep Power: 0 you guys can hate all you want, im just sayin that i know he/she in the boxter was trying to beat me, and i know for a fact, that i didnt do a ricer fly by because when i shifted from 3rd to 4th i started creepin on him/her slowly passing him/her, i dont think he/she could let gass off and have me pass him, because i barely passed him/her as car accelerated faster, then at 110 i let off gas becuase he was a car length ahead!! and when i did that we both slowed down
i wish i had video camera, so i could have proof! but anyways my friends were behind me in a integra LS with frankenstein setup and a 00 SI, and they saw me burn the porche!

Rep Power: 357 well lets see the stats (I hate stats) And you all know by now (probably) My feelings of all things porsche
the original boxter had a 2.5L 6cyl engine that made 201 Hp.
the 2000 boxter uped that to 217, and the boxter S was uped to 250.
in 2003 the base line boxter was upgraded to 228.
0-60
original 201 Hp car. Manual 6.7 Tiptronic 7.4
boxter S 5.3
new baseline 6.4
So I can see if it was an older Boxter with a Tiptronic transmission then I can beieve the story if its any other, then I question the facts. But I dont call BS because stranger things have happened.

Rep Power: 376 Yah an older auto non Boxster S is possible. But if you raced anything else than that, you're either full of crap or they wren't trying.

Rep Power: 0 not sure what the 60 - 80 mph acceleration is on your Si, but the Boxster is somewhere around 5.2 seconds... I am gonna guess that although you thought you were racing, he was just driving. I know that I never wasted my time in my BMW with cars I felt were "unworthy". Not saying this was the case, I wasn't there, but I would have to lean more toward a non-race call on this.
