Ricetangs!
Is it just me, or are they are lot more riced out mustangs lately? It seems like everyday ive seen something new and disgusting. For instance, v6 and v8 mustangs with import style exhaust? wtf is that garbage... HUGE wings, disturbing bodykits, altezzas... bleh. And just the other day i saw a V6 mustang with Roushe (sp?) stickers all over it, but he had a import looking muffler on it..... [/rant]

The new V8 Mustangs sound so throaty, so if you put on an exhaust it makes it sound even cooler.
A body kit gives a Mustang owner a chance to stand out from the other million Stangs in the US.
Alteezas: No comment (I guess they want to be different)
Big wings: There are some cool non aluminum/double decker wings that I have seen on Mustangs.
Just an FYI: People in the US pimped out domestics before they started pimping out imports.

what do you mean when you say "pimped out?" does that mean body kits, sound systems, etc? or does that mean souping up your ride with performance parts? if it means the second, then US people started that first. if it means the first the no friends is right. cause my dad told me about how him and his friends used to soup up their old muscle cars (his camaro had 350 hp pushing it) but he hates imports...and domestics now too. the only kind of sports car he'll buy is a porsche.

The "big wing" I am talking about is not a wing. It is more like the Kaminari wing, just a bit taller (I thought it looked pretty good on the red stang w/exhaust, tint, and rims).
I was thinking regular exhaust, not fart can.
BTW, I am not a Mustang fan, the only 'Stang I would think about getting is the SVT Cobra (04 only, cause the new body style is oh so sweet).

Rep Power: 0 one of my friends has a nice mustang...but he ahs what u people would think as a rice wing cause its a big one..but its off a cobra r...and unlike most imports taht are FF cars....it really doesnt do much...but since my friend likes how it looks and actually helps in high speeds and if he autocrosses...then it actual has a point....but if its some ricer type wing thats metal and has that carbon fiber on it...then yea...does not look good

The only ricetangs I see around here are ones with distasteful rims and maybe altezzas. I've never seen an alum. wing on one in my town.

Rep Power: 0 today i saw a riced out mustang. it had stock rims painted flat black, it looked really bad. plus it had gt-r badges on the side and on the back. The owner also painted the side air vent part red. It also had a gtr looking wing. it was painted red on the side.

looked really bad. plus it had gt-r badges on the side and on the back.
But on the other hand mustangs can be really badass cars. There are 3 people I know with badass mustnags. 1 has a 67' GT350 replica with a 351. another has a supercharged soon to be turbocharged 2000 GT. And the last one has a stock 03 Corba with a complete V6 body conversion

Rep Power: 0 Just FYI, Roush does make a V6 Mustang, so it may have been the real thing. I do see quite a few Mustangs around lately with Altezzas though, which is a disturbing trend. I don't have anything against Mustangs/domestics, but those look bad enough on our cars, much less a domectic.
