Suggestions for dragging?
I am running with and without rims, to see if the traction increase at the beginning is wort it. Also running at different psi levels. Keeping track of everything. I plan on removing my back seat, passenger seat, putting in a racing seat for the driver and taking out my subs and spare. Any other suggestions, even suggestions for launching. I used to race all the time but not in my Civic. Don't know what a good launch rev is.

Launch revs are different for every car. You have a turbo right? So you probably are going to want to get slicks to make your car really stick your 60foot. If you can't get grip with all ofthat power then your times are going to suck.
It's all a matter of practice to find your car's sweet spot.

The turbo isn't in yet, I gotta wait a lil bit to buy the HKS fuel system I want to run the car before boost so I can compare it when I have boost, that way I see how much the kit actually did for my. For what you posted though, that's the reason why I was thinking of racing with rims. I have Yokohama Parada Spec-2s on them which grip like hell, that would really help my 0-60' but I don't know how much it could hurt the rest of the race. We'll have to see when I get to the track I guess.

this may help you rt, but has nothing to do with your et. If you are going from a tree that is not a pro light set (one yellow then green) and you are going from an amatuer (3 yellows then green) go on the 3rd yellow don't wait till green(trust me on this you will not red light). It will get a better launch. And when racing at a track it doesn't matter who has the better time it is who crosses the line first. Therefore a better jump will help.
Sense you dont have your turbo yet, 3000 rpms is a good number to start launching at. If your tires spin too little or much, adjust accordingly. Basically you will have to find the correct launch for you.

Drop your psi in the front two tires down to 23...it is really 26
trust me I know.
Launch at 3200 rpm as soon as the last yellow turns on.
Your reaction times will be good.
Shift just before redline. you should be crosssin the finish
in the low 16's with your mods right now and at about 84mph.
pm me for any other questions

Cool thanks. You really think I can heat them up though? I'm not pushing too much power where I'd be able to roast them staging.
