So, I'm heading to work yesterday, and on my way, I have to stop at a light. I pull up to the light in the right lane, and already at the light, in the left lane, is an old, rusty, POS early-80's Thunderbird. Well, he's already stopped at the light, but he's about 6 feet from the stop line. I pull up to the line, and just wait for the light to change. So, he's obviously driving an auto (like me) cause he starts to jerk towards the line. Like he's got one foot on the brake and the other on the gas. I looked over, and he's staring at me, I look back towards the light and smile. Now, I'm not one for street-racing, but I will do the first-to-the-speed-limit dash. Anyways, the light turns green, and we're off. I started to pull on him from the start, and when I hit 70 km/h (speed limit) I had about 3/4 of a car on him. So I start to slow down, to stay at the speed limit, and this guy zips past me, and cuts in front of me, AND FLASHES HIS HAZARDS!! Like he won? Whatever.

I just laughed and continued on to work. Just had to laugh, and thought I'd share a chuckle with the rest of you.

happened to me today on the freeway too... im just cruisin along and some early 90's teg with no exhaust was in the fast lane pacing me. he had the worst exhaust note ive ever heard, it literally sounds like a goped. I look over at him and he's still pacing me, looking at his HUGE monster tach and edging back and forth by me. I wanted to get ahead of the car infront of me, so i downshifted to 3rd, passed the teg, and went into his lane. A few seconds later he comes screaming up on my tail swerves right as he's about to hit me, and passes me on the right. He kept going for like 3-4 car lengths then hit his hazards. I pulled up next to him and started laughing as he pulled away.

why would u be laughing if the guy pulled away from u, i mean sure a broken beaten piece of shiet is always funny to chuckle at, but when a broken beaten piece of shiet pulls away from u, i think it should be him laughing at u as u choke on his exhaust for awhile

The point is that he wasn't even trying to race him...he just sped up to pass and change. I would have laughed too. Kids like that get SO worked up because of normal people driving faster than them.

i was in a ricer fly by before and lived to tell the story lol

i was in the good ole civic on the highway doing 80 and a green integra flew by me with his hazards flashing even with me in the exit lane slowing down lol

exactly, i never got above 80 when i passed him, then he hits F&F mode and thinks we are racing just because i downshifted. (we all know 5th gear passing doesnt really work in our cars)
