People aren't naming EVERY domestic they've beaten.
But the civic can beat plenty of current as well as previous domestic cars. Cavaliers, focuses, neons, sunfires, etc, etc. It's the sport compact market. Hell if you wanna count avengers, and the plymouth breeze, and ford escort, and all the other crap that teenagers buy and rice out, you can throw that in there too.

Anyway, alot of Neons, Cavs, and Grand Ams can beat a Civic. Not saying all the time, but those would be some close races. I've driven my friends Neon with intake/exhaust and compared to the EX it feels faster. The Civic is not very fast...and most domestics can easily hang with it although they are close races...except for a Geo or something.

anybody go against the new neon?
I've driven it, never raced. I think it would beat a Civic...drivers being equal.
Tell me what you don't like about yourself....
