ok girls lets stop the fighting, he beat the rsx, no matter how he did it he beat the rsx, just like you are sure that you can beat every civic. Just let it go, arguing on the internet just makes you look even more retarded
Really though. I'm not the kind of person that makes stuff up, if I post something like this, it's for a reason, the sole reason that it actually happened, whether you want to believe that DC5 is up to you, but that's the truth.
Okay, let me get this right:
You post about "killing" a RSX in your Civic LX automatic w/ 3 occupants. Then you say you won because the RSX driver was too chicken **** to follow you around corners in high speeds.
Get this in your head: It's not a kill if the other driver wasn't racing you. Would you race a Geo Metro w/ 3 ppl in it around corners at high speeds? What if the Geo Metro lost control around the corner but you didn't? You'd still be behind it...
You say you won because of your superior driver skill. How hard is it to drive an automatic anyway? Point, gas, and brake. That's it.
I say you went around the corner faster just because the RSX driver was smarter than you and didn't want to risk having you crash, taking out his car in the process.

You said that you won because of your superior driving skills. I pointed out that there is *little* driver skill involved in driving an automatic.
I'm happy for you if you're glad that you beat a RSX.
It's just that in my book, that wasn't really a "kill" because the RSX driver wasn't racing you.

I also do find it ironic the RSX defenders are in here saying there is no way this would have happened and that it isn't possible that he won the race in his LX.
I remember having this same argument on clubrsx.com about the S2000 vs a stock RSX-S. And the RSX people were defending the claim of the RSX-S, even though he had a couple passengers. And this was at freeway speeds.
Interesting how the tables have turned.

I also said he was gaining slightly on the straights, but I lost him on the bends, so he was obviously racing me if he was gaining on the straights, but didn't have the ***** to corner at the same speed. The turn is really quite wide, and can be taken at quite a higher speed than what I did.

BTW: I have no shame in agreeing that the S2000 is faster than the RSX. You know how it is: In every forum lurks ignorant fanboys.
Holy crap! How many times do I have to say it before you understand? 5? 10? maybe 15?
He was too chicken to go fast around it. That's what seperates the winners from the losers, in any form of racing.

And if you're calling me an ignorant fan boy, you better take a long look at yourself, because you just can't deny the fact that this could ever happen to your precious RSX, can you?. I know the RSX is faster than the Civic, who doesn't? If a better driver was in the RSX, he would have won, but there wasn't, so that's that.
What is the point of this thread then? To proclaim to everyone in 7thgencivic.com that Majarvis has BIG ***** and that his excellent skills in driving an automatic secured him a win over a RSX?
Nevermind the fact that the RSX driver probably didn't want to tail him around a corner and risk him crashing taking the RSX out in the process.
This thread is pointless. I'm out

nope..
and the base auto has sport shift.. if that guy really wanted to race.. he can keep the car in gear if he wanted to..
btw Majarvis ...
next time you wanna show your passengers how much "*****" you got.. by taking "long sweeping turns at high speeds" think about how many "*****" you might loose if you flipped your LX ..
between the 3 of you .. i'd say there's a chance of you 3 loosing 6 "*****" ..
just cuz someone doesn't wanna race or doesn't wanna go as crazy as you want.. or doesn't deem you worthy as an opponent doesn't mean you killed them..
by your standards.. every god dam car i pass on the road that don't catch up to me is a kill ..

Are you blind or just stupid? He started to fly by me, when I was already going 120 in a 100 zone, and it pisses me off when people do that, so I floored it, and we were side by side for a bit until the turn, now just shut the **** up, because I'm getting sick and tired of you not knowing what you're talking about. You weren't there, so you have no clue what happened, only I do, and that's what I have told.

If some one was board enough to find out what the 100-120 times are of all the current Civic based chassis you'd find that there is really little difference. 0-60 however is a different story.

If the RSX boys argued til they were blue in the face that the S2000 WAS racing, and that the RSX-S won, then expect that the civic people here are going to argue the exact same way. It goes both ways.

You know what, I give up. I've had it up to here trying to argue something that happened. If it makes you shut up DC5, then I'll say the race never happened, there is no such thing as a Civic LX Sedan, and the base RSX is the fastest machine on the planet, that no Formula One car can even compete with, not even the Ferrari F2003-GA. Happy now?!?!
