hey guys! im not gay but i must say I love them boys at TireRack.com
so here's the shortened story:
Monday 1:45pm - ordered tires at tirerack.com
Tuesday 3:30pm - drive home from work up to some fresh tires inside my driveway!
Tuesday 3:59pm - fire up the compu to spread the good word to fellow members on 7thgencivic.com
The End
needless to say Im pretty suped up. The first time I ordered from them was years ago, but after my tires got slashed I ordered a set from eBay. I really cant remember them arriving this fast.
and to think over the weekend I was going around my local shops and all I got was
a) special order
b) whackass noname brands
c) superovercharge
I found a set that I researched on tirerack at a local Pepboys but they were charging $99 per tire, but at least they had it in the store (dunno if mounting & balance would be included)! That's over $400 for the set!!!
Tirerack was selling the Kumho ecsta AST for $67 each + $32.50 all 4 delivered, total of $300 and change!!!!!!!!!!
I knew i would save much more by just going tirerack, but I was feeling so lazy to wait for the tires. But good thing I did, but now i'm feeling lazy to go and get them mounted

Yup I wasnt home, so the UPS guy probably doorbelled and left them deep inside my driveway (behind our family beater car) so people passing in the street wouldnt see the tires.
I'm on the good side of town so most of delivery guys do this, unless the package has to be signed for or verified. If so, they leave a sticker (UPS & FedEx) or card in the mailbox (USPS) saying to come pick it up or let you know the next time they attempt to drop it off again.
A friend used to tape a note to the door that says "Please leave all packages at the side door" and that works too.
