Dayton Imports Inc......bad experience

I ordered a set of Dayton Imports Inc. Lambo doors. I paid them through paypal and I was supposed to recieve my order within 10 days. The order never arrived. 20 days after the order date I sent them an email to find out where the kit was. The responded claiming that their shop had been robbed and all of their kits were stolen.

They were supposed to refund my money. But after that email I never heard from them again. The NEVER answered the phone at all and stopped responding to my emails. I finally had to file a complaint with paypal to get my money back.

Dayton Imports is also known as Recon Engineering. Their ebay user id is "daytonimportscustoms".

At least I got my money back.

How long does it take for you to get your money back? Do they just give you as much as you paid dayton, no questions asked?

You file the report with Paypal. They send an email to the seller. If the seller doesn't respond within 10 days then you automatically get your money back. If the seller does respond then you go back and forth until a solution is found. In my case, Dayton Imports never responded and Paypal gave me my money back.

haha ... i live near by Dayton Imports and they are saying they were broken into and over 200k of shop equipment and product was stolen ...

everyone is laughing at them for this .. btw other local shops are laughing becuz its an insurance scam and you can tell ...

they are saying they are missing like 200 lambo door kits , poppers and EVERY tool in the shop ..... lol and the best part about this is that they are saying it had to of happened in one night ...

my freind works for them as a welder. but i havent talked to him in prolly 2 years since i was in school with him ill have to try and get a hold of him and find out whats going on.
