ImPulse and the HIDs...
Well, after 3 weeks, I get nothing. Supplier fawked him and so we both ended up with nothing. Jay sent me my money back plus like $5 after fees. Well, I guess **** happens.
Thanks for clearing it up. Still wish I had HIDs. Guess I go with retro now.

Now I talk to Jay on a daily basis and he is not one to screw people... I also ordered HID's from him and yes it took a little while, but **** happens. If you were to communicate with him, im sure he would have told you what was going on...
And if you have to go short on money to order a part for your car- maybe you should wait to you actually have the money... Just IMHO.

First its not my fault... I sent the money to my supplier along with shipping labels.
From that point, Its out of my hands.
He checked your kit, The H4 4500k (and the kit was busted, Meaning it wasnt working).
He didnt tell me that... Then when you asked me about the shipping, I contacted him, and he told me about the kit not working, So, He ordered more. He had a 5000k kit available, and I offered the 5000k ready to ship out instead of waiting for the new 4500k (would have taken an extra week).
Paypal didnt show a "refund", so I sent you 300$, That is what you sent me. I lost 3% on that, Why shouldnt you? I was even kind enough to send you an extra 15$ so that you didnt lose any money, You even got some extra. So, you didnt lose 9$.
You also forgot to add the fact that I sent you extra money,

i know Jay for awhile now and he is a stand up guy.
he did take responsibility by refunding you your money and then some.
things happen oh well... he did the right thing and gave good customer service.

HIDS came as promised. Smooth transaction on Impulses part. On a side note.....
Being in business and dealing with such issues on a daily basis...I know it can get hairy and sometimes unbelievable to the customer that something happened. I run Dezod Motorsports on a daily basis and have to deal with issues like this, make customer call backs, handle escalated emails and overall just making things right. 90-95% of the screw ups are from the manufacturer or shipping company. From a professional stand point of view, Impulse did quite well handling this. He made it right by sending back all the $$ and the paypal fees.
to that! Keep up the good work bro. I know it can be tough vouching on others behalf and sometimes biting the bullet for the loss. Keep up the good work.

Jay's a good guy. Even though he's on the other side of the country, i'd trust him with my transaction. I bought 2 things from him at seperate times and both were well packaged and recieved within no time. He is not one to screw someone over.

He offered you a 5000k kit, your a fool for not taking it, not much of a difference.
Dont bad mouth an incredible seller.
Impulse is an asset to this lighting board. IF you had bought a kit of ebay you would have been shipped a defective unit and had to deal with endless emails and claims.
this guy refudned your money plus what you lost and then theres the fact that he lost even more.
the way I see it jays gone outta his way to make the best of a difficult situation
