Matter resolved: money refunded by NytRyder2k2 5/27/04
This matter has been resolved. I got a refund from NytRyder2k2 the day after the complaint was sent to paypal. The refund just cleared today. I'm not sure what happened before and I don't know how long it would have taken to get a refund if I didn't file a complaint, but I'll give him the benefit of doubt. He seems like a very nice guy that made a mistake.

I agreed to buy his used trunk for $236.90 shipped, which included the 3% extra he wanted for paypal fees. I transferred the money to him on 4/29/04.
So I wait a few days, but there is no tracking number or message from NytRyder2k2. On 5/05/04, I message him asking for an update. He told me that he has the flu and could not ship it out and will ship it out as soon as he is feeling better. This was fine, since at least I got an update.
So I waited and no tracking number. I sent a pm on 5/10/04 asking him if he shipped the trunk out yet. There is no response even though I know he read it because I have message tracking. So, the next day 5/11/04, I pm him again let him know that I know he read my message and need an update. This time he responds back letting me know that he could not find a box big enough to fit the trunk. So he can only bubble wrap it and send it or give me a refund. I was pissed because why do I have to go through sending pms when he should be the one letting me know of this situation. So I ask for a refund and he agreed to give me an refund on 5/11/04.
NO REFUND from seller as of yet. I pmed him for an update on the refund on 5/18/04. no response. I messaged him on aim. no response. I emailed him directly. no response. Today is 5/22/04 and still no response. I have filed a claim with paypal because I only have 30 days to file a claim and it was getting close to that date. I have learned my lesson and never again will I use this foresale forum unless it's local.

Alot of people just like to keep the money. I send 7thGENDMAN $40 worth of stuff three months ago and he never paid me. You can try paypal, but I doubt they'll do anything.

Rep Power: 329 I would also send him a paypal request for money. Also, those refunds take up to 10 days to post onto your paypal account. He could have already refunded it, but paypal hasn't posted it to your account.
I understand... i sent Kloverz $90 and he didnt send me crap. Always said he sent it but i didnt get nething.... He was a diamond member and had + feedback... you gotta be careful. You cant even get a refund with paypal? I thought paypal was safe if you sent some1 $ and they cant just run off. Any1 know?
