well, after having a problem with a product he sold me not fitting, he has since refunded my money after i sent the item back. he is a very cool guy and i highly recommend buying from him i will leave all the original text of this thread so you can see the problem i had and how he helped me work through it.


here is where this thread started: (please note that this problem has since been resolved with him and everything is good now.)

i bought a rear lower tie bar from him a while back and since it was nice out today i decided to go ahead and install it. but what do i see, it doesnt even fit the car because it is way too big. so i go and PM him telling him how pissed i am that he sold me a product that i cant even use and he says he will not refund my money just becaquse i was pissed when i PM'd him. wtf???? i think he knew it wouldnt fit and is just saying crap now so he doesnt have to refund me. i would never buy anything form this ***** ever again!!

You might want to include the fact that you purchased that bar over four months ago and just came up with this claim that it doesnt work. Here is the copy of the transcript of our conversation just so everyone that proposes to be experts on my character can decide what thier course of action in this situation would have been?


Report me if you like. That bar was purchased from Ebay and is a lower rear tie bar for a 01-03 Honda Civic. I dont know what your major malfunction is or why it doesnt seem to work for you but that is no longer my problem. You purchased it over three months ago and now you have the audacity to IM me using profanity and calling me derogitory names. I dont think so. You do what you need to do there Einstein. I have an excellent reputation on this and every other auto forum I participate in. Like I said before I would have been more than happy to take the bar back and give you a full refund, but NO ONE talks to me in the manner you did. That is the end of this conversation. I will not respond to any further IM from you. Take care

Dude it is the right tie bar, it was sold in good faith and you have had it for quit awhile. Bottom line... Suck it up and learn how to talk to people. ^^lease: if he bought it 4 months or 4 days ago, you sold him a product that doesnt even fit his car, he is entitled to a refund plain and simple.

sucks that it doesn't fit, but 4 months is a long time to ask for a refund. And the time frame is relavent. If you were to go to court about this, the time frame would be very significant.

Tell you what send it back after you formally apologize on this thread for your lack of respect toward me. Once I get it I will check it out. If it doesnt fit I will refund your money. I was very upset at your approach but the right thing to do is the right thing to do. I will wait on the apology and you can email me for my address to send the bar to.

cajun - i will take pics of the bar next to where it is supposed to be installed so you can obviously see that it does not fit, that way everyone can be 100% that i am right that it doesnt fit. i will take the pics tomorrow.

I am not sure, but if you say $30 then I will go with that. Is the bar still in the condition that it was when I gave it to you? I am going to contact the company on Ebay where I purchased it to see if they will replace or refund? In fact once I get the pics I am going to send them to the company and if possible have the new bar sent out to you directly.

tie bar, you dont connect it there though, you connect it to the bolts that connect to the lower control arm.

Dude you need to settle down. I said email me and I will give the address to send the bar back to. Man you are really pushing it arent you. I am fair and I realize that the bar doesnt fit. That was NEVER the issue. If you would have contacted me and acted like a man instead of an idiot you would have had the money days ago and could have kept the bar. Your conduct and the way you handle this situation is the issue. You better learn how to talk to people.

ok. i will be sending it back to you tomorrow via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation. i expect you to send the $30 to my paypal account of abmerop18@yahoo.com on the same day you get the tie bar. and i am sorry for misjudging you man, you seem to be acting cool about it now. all i ask is that you please refund my money when you get the tie bar back. if you wish when it all goes good, i will delete this thread and post another about how you are a great seller and worked through this situation with me. thanks - matt.
