Importwholesale on Ebay is a joke!
I cant believe these guys. Man I got stuck big time. Here is a copy of the email I sent to them. Their shipping and insurance charges are just outrageous. Make sure if you bid on anything from this company you read the bottom of the screen where it says shipping and handling charges .................oh and mandatory insurance charges. I dont want anyone else to get screwed by these schisters
I called you today to ask about shipping both of my items that I won off of Ebay from your company together to save on shipping. You rep informed me that the shipping and isurance charges are set and that they are non-negotiable. He said that even if items are shipped together the same shipping and insurance charges apply. Your shipping and insurance charges are Ridiculous! I won a muffler for $15 and end up paying over $43 with shipping. Then I win a short ram air intake for $5 and end up paying over $22. I am going to pay for these items because I bid on them, but you can be sure that you will get the worst possible feedback I can think of. Man that is a shame that you are killing people like that on false shipping charges. I will make sure and let people know about this. I am also going to let Ebay know about it as I am sure other suckers like me have done in the past.

I like to read the whole aution over before bidding, including the shipping and other fees there.
if it's not listed, I email them asking for how much shipping would be. THEN I bid/win.
gotta be smarter than the sellers to get the best deals.

According to EBay's rule, they would not be able to do anything to the high shipping charge because sellers has right to set up the shipping charge no matter how high it is. Some sellers don't even accept combined shipping charge and that is also the part that EBay would not take care of UNLESS if the seller says combined shipping charge is fine but then they refused to do so. At a seller's position, shipping is actually part of the profit, and the best example would be $20+$10 shipping V.S $5 plus $25 shipping. Sounds like the second one is a rip off but that's how they make profit. EBay and PAYPAL just charged too much to sellers. By the way asking buyers to pay the 3% of the PAYPAL fee is prohibited. (Which I did all the time and been warned once...-_-) Buddy, if you really can't accept about the shipping charge, I would suggest to find another seller who has the similar auctions. Take it easy~

You should have read and asked any questions before buying. I sell A LOT on ebay, and sometimes the shipping charges I pass on are high, because of insurance, weight, packaging, etc. Nevertheless, it really is on you... ever heard the phrase "Buyer Beware?"

And for those who always buy and sell stuff on eBay, if you receive email regarding eBay information update, DO NOT do it! That is a fake!!! Although the email seem to be sent by eBay, the person who sent those emails wanted your personal info and $$$$ from your credit card! My credit card got scammed once. They would use your card info to purchase money order. So that they can cash it out later. Sadly, I think news was everywhere before it happened to me.

I guess doing business fairly is a lost concept especially in the sport compact arena as I am quickly finding out. Now dont go crazy because I am not bashing you guys here on the forum, just stating a simple opinion and trying to illustrate the differences between the corvette community and the sport compact community.
There have been numerous times (over 20) that I have purchased from corvette vendors and they have charged me exact shipping. In fact I have never (in over $8000 of purchases for that car) been done wrong with bullshit shipping, handling and insurance charges.
I understand that I should have made myself aware of the policies and I am not blaming the company for my ignorance here, just saying that it is basically wrong. I have run into the same thing with parts for the S2K so price of the vehicle has nothing to do with this practice by the import performance companies(Some of them I should say).
