Unhappy Newbie Help, Civic 01 Modding

Got a Civic 01 EX Automatic. I'm Putting Rota Subzero's with Sumitomo HTR+ 's on it. But thats all I got so far. I think I will drop it in a bit and then maybe a kit. But I dont know what else is good and or what could help performance wise which is what i really think I need. Anyway im a newbie with car modding so any help is great.

where from Maryland are you from, because ill have to meet up with you and have a nice long talk!

there's too many mods to list that you can do to your car, so start fresh..

intake, exhaust, lower, headlights, grill, shift ****..

simple **** like that is always the best..

then you can move into the big bad stuff.

but lemme know where your from and we'll meet up..

dude...get the basic stuff mabye some exterior mods...but dont bother with engine work...SAVE FOR A TURBO KIT

and if your looking for a nice exhaust tone...dont bother spending a ton on a exhaust system that will sound the same as a meghan n1 style on ebay...I hear they sound nice and deep and not at all ricey

as far as serious performance, the only things you can really do is swap in a k20, or turbo the d17 you have now

well for the turbo kits what do they have currently and do you guys have any links? also i hear that if you are putting a turbo on something your going to degrade the quality and lifetime of the engine. is that true?

only if you run it hard. its sort of an indirect result of the turbo. it makes your car faster, so you want to run it harder, therefore making your engine wear faster.
