Well I figured I'd register, I didn't come on to start crap, I lost respect for the Honda's after the fast and furious movies came out, For my stats, I do own a 1992 Topaz XR5 with a 3.0 V6 and a 5 spd, The car does 15.2@93 mph in the 1/4 and 0-60 mph in about 7 seconds flat, Grant it, It's not the fastest thing on land but it goes pretty damn good. For pics of my car, Ask and you shall receive!!

And as far as what you posted, the "fast and furious" argument doesn't carry much weight around here, since most of the people on this site think that movie is the stupidest piece-of-**** movie ever made. And - I know I sure as hell don't judge car companies by how they are portrayed in movies........I judge them by my experience(i.e. I used to own a tempo and hated it). funny thing is, here is a nice fnf-style quote frome none other than tempo-topaz.com:

Rep Power: 348 That's pretty quick for a Topaz. I didn't think they were that quick. My dad has one, automatic of course, and I think my LX 5spd is faster. Just the way it feels to me. I could be wrong.

lease: I've seen 'em on escorts, cavaliers, you name it.......please don't judge cars based on what a small percentage of the owners do to them.
umm, i wouldnt be suprised if you saw big *** wings and loud *** fart cans on tempos either. but dont hate on honda, they never do factory recals for half of their cars unlike other manufacturers i know of..

Rep Power: 332 My friend has a Tempo, it's got chrome dubcaps, no muffler, SRI and a bumpin system with leopard print seat covers and steering wheel cover. Big air freshener on the dash and seatbelt pads. NExt project is some fringe for the inside.

Rep Power: 0 Yea when ppl think of Tempo/Topaz they think a scrapheap car, Well not mine, My car is well taken care of, It's rare only 700 built, It's got a V6 with a 5 speed. I'll never ever ever rice my car out, Hell if somethin were to happen to my XR5, I always have my Z/28
