Installed Reverse Guages, DIY Blue Dash **UPDATED** Pics on Page2
Aiight..... Installed the Indiglo guages... and they look amazing! I will have pics of these tonight when its darker
Did the DIY Blue dash, and it wasnt worth it
biggest pain in the *** for me...
I was struggling for over an hour trying to pull the dash out... when i realized you have to take off 2 screws first... The instructions didnt say that
But, that was also me being an idiot
And also, i dont know how to take this part a-part....
So, i couldnt change the light in that part
Anyways, ill take pics of what i did change blue when it gets darker out!
My friend came over to visit with his new toy, the GSX1300. Here is a pic of it along with my car in the backround... Look at my baby!!!
Will have more pics within 3-4 hours

Yes, I agree it is worth it, if you can get your colors to match. I changed the colors in my gauges too, instead of getting reverse indiglos, so everything matched for me
The only thing I don't like is that the needles are dim (I can still see them no problem at night, but they're definitely nowhere close to stock brightness. I'm trying to use EL tape to possibly brighten them, but I don't know how it will affect the needle stop points, etc.). Anyways, here's my interior lights after changing the bulb covers (I really like teal/green vs. the the blue indiglo color of reverse indiglo gauges, actually looks like indiglo watch colors)...

you wouldnt really need to try it on 2003 since their dash is already blue.
i wonder if anyones asked yet if the 2003 dash would fit in the 2001/2002 console.

2003
This pic is from Azure's ride
The 2003 would probably fit 2001/2002 clusters, since they're overall size looks the same (provided the plugs/wires are the same of course).

i think thats just a bad color. this isnt a night shot, so its probably gonna look a bit more blue, but this is a pic from the honda site.
not exactly the same blue as VWs have, but better than white/red i think.

My bad I forgot Azure changed the color of his gauges, in any case the new 2003 gauges look sweet, especially the chrome outlines. Impulse, sorry about posting unrelated stuff on your thread, I am stopping now.

I like the Gauges.....now you gotta get a nice aftermarket radio with a bluish display to match all your other lights
