Goodbye my civic
I just traded in my Civic for something else. I traded it in for a manual but I can't afford another manual Civic so I had to settle for something slightly less since in California, taxes are added with the full price of the new car and not the difference after the trade in.
Oh, this is my first time with a standard too. I practiced for about 1 hour and Stop -> 1st is the only part I have problem with. After 1st, I can shift the car and it will feel like an auto. Seems like I have most trouble going from a stop--including reverse.
I miss my Civic. I will still like it though.
Oh well, just want to share my news of my Civic will you all whether you care or not.

It's a domestic.
Please don't hurt me!
I'm a traitor, I know considering that there WERE 3 Hondas in the family; now only 2. I'm still hanging around though. This is my home
.
My story simplified: I traded my Civ in for another car.

.In case someone doesn't know, it's not an actual horse.
PS I can drive around with almost no probs now. Still some jerkiness but getting better.
It is a Mustang--the lowest and cheapest one (aka the suckiest one). I don't think I can afford a Ferrari even if I trade in 10 Civics.
Post numbers do not mean anything. I visit often but do not post responses because people already say things that I would have said, so there is no need to me to say what has already been said.
I still have my 4th gen civic, so don't say I'm no longer a member.
Anyways, if y'all don't want me here, I can go visit the stang guys. haha.

why would we not want you here? We love having a car around that is actually inferior to our Civic's.

just as long as you don't turn into flipperstang you'll be fine here. BTW you ended up getting the 6cyl one?? How do you compare it to the civic, seeing as you owned both of them.

I'm at work so I'll make it quick before my boss looks over my shoulder.
Mustang vs Civic.
Transmission: I have no idea. I drove an auto Civic and this is an manual Stang. Two different things. I'm just starting out with the manual so I'm still pretty shaky.
Mileage: Civic!
Looks: Different people, different opinions.
Steering: Mustang. Could be just my head.
Power (0-60 or 1/4 mile): Civic. I'm still practicing manual. I can't launch for sh*t.
Sound system: Mustang. Wow. Best stock system I've ever heard (I drive low-end cars)
Space: Civic
Comfort: Hard to tell. Maybe similar.
That's all I can think of to compare right now. Customers are coming and I'm here typing and making them wait. ha.
