As the subject says, I know jack about cars. Having recently wrecked my Civic, im getting a new one - Civic EX coupe manual transmission. Now the advice part, I want to get as much power/speed/what have you out of that car as I can. With about a $1300 budget can I expect any major improvements? Should I get a new intake and exhaust? Should I (or can I afford) a good turbocharger? Any advice/links/questions are appreciated.

you cant afford a good turbo unless you can fabricate things. If you want cheap speed get a clutch and nitrous. thats the only way your going to get fast in our cars..i would go with NX express kit, a clutch, intake, and a header

check the group buy section... and plus i've seen it in person and heard it perform... and its not the guy selling it that has it... its a member that has it "Catalyst..." the guy selling it is "SFPower"

everyone is jumping on this kit because its legit... many members are dropping the cash to get it.. i would to if i had the money

I have read all of the threads. Catalyst and SFPower made to turbo together. So he is not a unique buyer. No one knows if it is legit. The kit is using a questionable manifold unlike the traditional log style.

I'm just saying, don't throw your support behind something that you haven't experienced.
