Please post this letter on your page so people know there are still mature people who are supporting you.

I just read your page. It seems to me that people misunderstand you a lot. Well, to start with, I am a asian as well and I think your page is not far from truth except people simply misunderstand you, they think you put civic down. I notice you explain a lot that you are not doing so.

Japanese does make really smooth and economic car. I am sure honda engineer won't say a regular civic is a sport car. It is designed for going shopping, going to work etc. The class of civic 01+ is same as VW jetta, Builk century, Neon etc (refer to yahoo auto) which are smooth, mid-high class and used at low RPM most of time.

Because civic is really popular and really promoted on some movies that is why people believe it is a race car. It is not, there is no way a civic without an engine swap can beat any V6 or V8 assuming both driver can drive.

We can all notice that American car in general has bigger HP than japanese and europien. It does not mean american cars are better, in fact, the sale of Ford, GMC etc are so bad compare to jap and euro; the reason, no body knows. Personally I think is reliability and smoothness. A viper 2002 got 3/10 on smoothness on Yahoo auto review but 10/10 for power.

People just think a car which is better sold must be faster. IT IS NOT, jap and euro cars are more popular because they are more reliable and more smooth. American cars are more powerful, more bold mechanical enginered and consume more gaz. Most people need a car for daily use, therefore they choose jap or euro, not becaue they are FASTER.

Personally, in Canada, I actually don't see much asian with big spoiler and exagerated exterior stuffs. Most of us don't even like chrome rims. In fact, I see more caucasian and american african with huge spoilar/huge decal/chrome fake rims and exagerated stuffs. I thinks to be fair you might want to state these on your site. I believe most asians know exactly how any type Rs look like, so fewer of us would put on fake type R sticker, don't you think so? of course you will get a lot of missunderstanding from people if you did not clearly explain RICE cars are not only from certain race of people. Of course if you link RICE to asian there will be a problem...
