why don't you try and take off the plastic and have the 3d looking effect on your taillights. IMO they would look better and you can work with what you have. Or you can just go to the junk yard and try to find stock taillights.

Ok I would comment on your cars stuff, but none of the pics due it justice. You don't have any fulle side shots, and all your othe shots are at angles so its hard to tell. Post some non-angled straight on pics of the fronts and sides and I'll tell you what I think.

you cant get those exact wheels unless your car is a FP. Honda of Japan has this thing that the VIN number tells if the car is FP or not, and if i need replacement FP parts i gotta take it to the dealership, they gotta send Honda my cars info so they can verify that its an fp and then they will send me the part i need.....in other words you cant get an FP part for a non-fp car ... which kinda sux

so do your wheels have wheel locks and stuff...if not you should think about getting some because your wheels are so exclusive to your car...cuz if you dont have wheel locks anyone can just jack your rims...im pretty suprised that honda woud sell your wheels only to FP cars and they would do the whole info check thing...last time i checked honda didnt really care about stuff like that...r u sure it lowers two inches? i remember reading the article on the factory performance and it says it lowers one inch. Again, i don think honda would lower a car two inches as a "factory performance" option...nice setup tho

yea we already went over the fact that 2 inches might be an overstatment (road and track said 2 inches but supposudly thats wrong), and yes my dealership provided me with wheel locks for the rims.
And greatcasa. you can convert your car to an FP, but it costs like 4 grand (again quoted from road and track). However, if your car isn't an FP then they cant order you a new pair of these rims (or at least they arent 'supposed' to, but really who follows these rules, money is money)

Now another question, should i keep putting more and more into performance? or should i also do some audio too? i mean like all of us on this website, i would like my car to be a fast civic, but i guess making my civic 'fast' is going to take a lot more than just exhaust intake headers and pulleys .... so should i also get into the audio portion? the only reason i havn't already was because of the fact of people saying 'dude putting a system in your car will ruin your performance real bad, so if you do audio dont bother to race' .... whats your opinions?

The FP kit is a rip.
Eibach Prokits($175), Koni Shocks ($550), those rims can be bought on E-bay for about $700, and the kit is about $800 painted, 16" tires, $300. I count $2500 in stuff and that gives the same exact look as the FP Civic. Who gives a **** about the trim and Altezzas. So the dealer rips you a new one.
As far as stereo. If you want to race (legally), then don't put a stereo in... it weighs your *** down and makes the car slower than it already is. I honestly wouldn't put too much into speed... save it for turbo or swap...cuz bolting on stuff to a D17 will get you about 5 HP.
And stop reading magazines.

oh forget that, i found the cybernation turbo kits, they are pretty expensive but hey, if im gunna do it i guess im gunna do it right the first time, looks like its time to put away money for that t3 lol.
another question...why is it that bolt ons dont do jack **** to the d17?
if i were to drop headers, pulleys, cam gears, cam shafts, cai, high flow cat, cat back what would i be able to produce from my car? anything decent?

there's only one header
there's only one camshaft and one camgear
boltons won't do a whole lot, and if you're getting a turbo, the exhaust manifold will be replaced anyway, making that header upgrade a temporary thing.

IMO...that FP thing is crap they fed you at the dealer. It doesn't have more HP stock cause you're runnin a D17 just like the rest of us. Your FP body kit is an OEM kit or a Type R style kit, Your altezza's were definitely NOT made in Japan, Your shift **** is an aluminum ball. They ripped you for all that crap same way they do it at the dealership down the street from my house. It's all dealer installed, and dealer overpriced.
Oh and the rims....i dunno...i've seen a few vis with those round here, i'm sure if someone wants them...they can get 'em.
OK but seriously...ur car aint all that bad. I'm not feelin the altezza's. Other than that...it's ok.

Yeah I agree with everyone else, the FP package isn't all that great. I was considering getting it as well because I thought it was good deal, but after asking my dealer a few questions about it I steered clear. I noticed that the springs and upgraded shocks it came with were honda made and asked the dealer if they ever went bad how easy would it be to replace/fix and here's what the dealer told me... 1) Honda stopped making the FP kits within 4 months it was out, 2) They don't have any or very little and no plans for making the upgraded shocks that come with the FP Civic, 3) In their opinion don't get the FP kit. All I know is that when a Honda Dealer steers me clear of buying something expensive that could make them money it really must be pretty bad. I know you could just upgrade or replace whatever shocks came with the FP kit, but the fact that they don't even have spare parts for it is just ridiculous. Plus, like everyone else said, you could build yourself a similar kit for much cheaper and on extra stuff and still have some $$$ left over. That aside, I think the FP package looks really nice, just too much $$$ and no support for some parts isn't too good IMHO.

well like i said im a newbie... i wanted to do the tyc projector head lights, but i dont know if i want to take off my front bumper (it looks hard and im just thinking that- what if i cant get it back on) - any more ideas?
And audio, i was planning on maybe getting some alpine type r's running off some sort of amp, but then dynamatting my car is a downside that im not sure if i want to do... what do you think?
again, im a newbie, and any help will be appreciated

TYC projectors are nice, taking off the bumper takes all of 2 minutes! As for audio, ask some of the gurus in the I.C.E. forum on this site - whiterabbit, mohawkboom or ludlamtheory will definitely steer you in the right direction.
