I have gotteen 2 trophies this year also, 9th at Z-Hills in 96-03 Civics (there was quite a few as I am sure you could imagine) and 3rd in Honda Wild (although I am mild)at a FSU sponsored show. congrats and I know you are a proud owner!
what does it take to win trophies at shows? i like your ride a ton but i always figured trophy winners would be alot more done. I'm not disrespecting cause agian i love your car, but i'm just curious as to my position compared to show trophy winning cars that are out there. My list of mods is medium sized but it's not really the volume that i've done to it, it is more how the pieces compliment eachother. i mean i've been told by literally dozens of people that i have one of the hottest civics around my area but i've always thought if i entered a show i'd get laughed at. anyone who has pics can you post some of some tamer rides that have won shows.??? i'd love to see how i compare to the average car at the average show. thanx

Rep Power: 333 Thanks for all the comment... I spoke with the judge on how he was going to judge and the things he looks for... He was a good judge he said cars gained alot points for being clean from door jams to fenders... He looked at the cleanliness of the wheels the engine and trunk.. He told me I got alot of points for my engine because of the dressup and he said overall the car was just clean.... I have another show this Sunday so we'll see how that goes... Thanks Again..
i know your car looks clean and all, but damn, how the hell did it win second place ina show??!! what was the class/model structure? alot of attendence? its deffinately a nice car, but here in Chi, that wont get you anything.

Rep Power: 333 These shows I have entered have not been major HIN style shows but I have had competitors.. In this show I had about 6 other cars against me in the import class. These shows arent big a$$ major shows but small local shows.. I am just showing everyone that I am representing 7th Gen here in south Texas....
