these are new tailights that NoBottleJustThrottle asked me to post... i guess he can do them for u or have some made. dont know if this is the right forum for it or not but oh well... just move it if it isnt..

As you can see they are still very reflective, glossy and not too dark. The problem with most smoked tails are that they are too dark...as you can see in the first pic, you can still see the red a little bit. They also light up really well at night, and even in the day time.
If you are worried about the cops...DONT. I have had multiple cops right up on my *** and nothing happened. I have even had a few tell me that they like my tails and one has even asked me to do his.
I can do the tails for you on any car for $70. I know its a little much, but the clear coat, and the dye cost me $45 alone...

Rep Power: 0 It looks cool and all but it kind of looks too dark. I have seen some tailights with smoked tails but lighter. Is it possible for you to make it lighter?
I can make these totally custom for you guys.
I can make them lighter, darker, i can even color them a different color if you wanted.
My friend has a silver WRX with this done, and it looks sweet!
GuamCivic, i will try and get some pics of my friends WRX for you, but trust me...it looks awsome if you have other black accents to go with it.

Honestly, the tails arent that dark...as you can see in the first pic you can still see the red if you are up on it, yea, from far away it looks like you dont have tail lights...but if you really want it lighter, i can EASILY do that for you...that isnt a problem at all!

they are strict here too, but since i use a clear coat, they are still really reflective. I think the major problem is that people smoke them too dark and then they are reflective at all...thats not the case with mine...but i understand if you dont want to risk it. Maybe if you show your car you can have a set that you put on for shows only and then a stock set.

Rep Power: 0 i wanted to smoke my tails but i wanted to apply a very light and thin coat over them, that looks good but kinda dark for what i want, is there anyway, during the process, that you could have made them lighter by not applying a coat or two...if so then ill prolly smoke mine

It's not expensive. Just do it yourself. Get "Nite-Shades" by VHT. It's not that hard to do.

About the $70...its a lot...i know it is...but i have tried otehr products, and they simply arent as good. This stuff that i use will last your forever, wont fade, is very reflective, and a magnet for complements.
i will break down the money for you:
$50 for the materials (quality isnt cheap)
$10 for my friend that sprays it on with a gun
$10 profit...you understand that
So if you think that i over priced it just to make a huge profit off of this...im not. Normally my buddy charges $100 to do this...but i told him that i didnt want to charge you guys that much. I bitched, and argued with this guy for about an hour about this, and he told me $70. Its a good price.
