Pics of my ride... a 2001 Honda Civic LX Sedan (Eternal Blue).
Here are some pics me and my buddy took tonight of my car (sorry for the bad lighting, but night time does that to ya
Anyway yeah it's a 2001 Honda Civic LX Sedan (Eternal Blue). I have an RS grill on it because it looks cool, and a Vibrant Performance stainless steel tip, because I didn't feel like paying $50 for the Honda one. Other than that it's bone stock, but I plan on adding a short ram induction later on.
Anyway, here they are.

Burning rubber. (Don't worry, although this was done on public streets, since it was Good Friday, and was in a business park on a VERY un-travelled road, it's where everyone goes to skid tires, and I happen to have the longest ones there from going in reverse, revving in neutral, then dropping it into drive, gotta live powertrain warranties
)
) Some sad news
Probably only 30 minutes after these were taken, a cat or racoon (not sure which) ran out infront of my car, instinctively I swerved to the left (no oncoming traffic) and ran onto a propane canister that someone left on the road
so of course the car stopped turning once it was ontop of the canister, and I smacked into the curb at around 60km/h. The front driver side wheel is buckeled, hubcap and rim broken, and the rear driver side wheel cover is broken because it hit the curb as the rear end slid into it. Needless to say the Toyo's are shot, and I'll need new tires. Because I'm 18, I'm going to try and take a loan out to pay the repairs instead of claiming it through my CAA insurance, as I'm sure my rates would skyrocket.
What a shitty end to a good day, cleaned the car and everything, only for this to happen

Yeah, it was kinda poor planning on our part taking them at night, but I wanted it that way because of the cool lighting effect.
Anyway, read my post after the pics, it isn't so nice looking anymore

But yeah, I hope it won't be too much, if anyone has any ideas how much it may cost don't hesitate to post here. It is sitting in the Honda dealerships lot right now, so they'll see it tomorrow morning. I'm not sure if I want to know how much it will cost, I bet it will be over $1,000.

I'll report back here tomorrow on how much it costs to fix, I'm guessing it's going to be at least $1,000

Thanks for the compliments though. And Honda hasn't done an actual apraisal yet, but one of the guys just looked at it and gave me a ball park figure of $1,500 to $1,600
Good Friday wasn't too good to me, at least no one was hurt. Argh, who leaves a Propane canister in the middle of the driving line!?!
Forgot to come back and say. There was $1,700 CDN worth of damage, they had to replace basically the whole left front corner of the car. Both steel wheels, and both wheel covers. Luckily there was no body damage, so I think I got away lucky. But still, ouch, I'll be paying on that for a while.
