AK's car comes to an end...
No, i didn't crash my car.
I've lost interest in my car and plan on getting an RSX in a year or less.
I drive a lot (75+ miles) everyday and the civic is not working for me.
Things I really dislike:
-Seat (I could change them, but i'm dropping too much money into the car. Soon the mods would be greater than the car's value...)
-Seat position & Center controls
-Interior feels really really cheap
-NO performance... (unless turbo or k20 swap which costs WAY too much)
-Creaks everywhere
I am not saying that the civic sucks and I know that it's not near perfect. The RSX just suits me better and i've always wanted that car...
Anyhow, all good things must come to an end.
Most of the parts in my car have been sold already so i'll be driving bone stock for the next few months.

(Almost overnight... SoCal people are hungry for parts!)
I will stay on the boards even after i get the RSX...so don't cry. I'm not leaving.

I feel you guys on some of the cons of the civic. But I think no matter what car I buy I will still dump money into it. True the engine isn't the greatest, but one day I will improve it (turbo, swap, something). Plus you also have to consider... you spend more for the car and the parts cost more too. I'll keep my civic.
Good luck to you AK with your RSX. Enjoy.

i like the civic and all, but its never been like a love of the car...theres much better out there, specially now with like the spec-v and other beastly cars hitting the market.
im really glad i leased instead of buying...really gets rid of the hassle of selling the car later on.

Yes Yes, g35 coupe...so much better...I will be getting one in 1.5years! Finishing college with the Civic, then buying G35 Coupe for work!
One Comment on RSX's..........
People sell these off faster than they sell their Civics....look at clubrsx.com!

I don't know about that... I used to treat my civic as if it were a Bentley, so i'm sure i'll do the same to the RSX.
So far i've had my Civic for 1 year 1 month and it has 27,000 miles. :O
Must..get..leather............ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!

if u guys really wanna buy nice cars then come down here to the bay area and come to the JDM warehouse here and buy a S15 for 20g's or a R33 GTR for 27g's! they have RHD crxs and other cars too, but for 20 or so, i would stick w/ a S15!

I'm not looking for an s15 .. lol
Really looking into a nice stock car. Not a race car...but more luxury oriented.

hm.. i rather enjoy my 7th gen, and half the fun of upgrading is in the process itself. if i had the cash i'd be willing to modify the hell out of my car instead of getting a "better one" for less. good luck with the RSX, but have you considered any other options?

I REALLY hate the seats. I haven't gotten used to them in the 23K I've had the car. I think my problem was that I bought too small of a car, I should have considered an Accord.

Oh yea, i forgot to say i'm looking to spend below $18,000 without taxes.
-03 accord coupe is neat, but nowhere close to $18,000 with leather.
-Used 02 RSX base auto with leather (with less than 30,000 miles) should be below $18,000. Lots of used RSX's here in SoCal...

Dont worry your rear and front lip will be well taken care of and given a good home. Ill even let you come visit them once in awhile. lol jp
But really though i think you should reconsider your decision and just stick with the civic. i mean where are you going to find such a wonderful site and so many wonderful people? your car looks perfect and i think i speak for most when we say...STAY AK!

I don't think the interior feels THAT cheap though. Only thing that really sucks is the engine.
