alright....i'm having a problem with my rims. They have some discolouring around the center cap (the lip before it sinks down to the mesh). It is only about a 3 mm band off and on around the circumfrance of the center but i loath it. They never came into contact with any harmful cleaners or salt. I washed them like everyother day during the summer and i was sure to wash them well before winter storing. The wheel refinishing place here says 125 bucks per wheel
that is like 500!!!!!! I'm trying to get ahold of Primax the manufacturer so that i can bitch and get them fixed or replaced, but i can't find there contact site. i figure they will do something about this or at least they REALLY should since i've had them less than a year. anyone help me with the contact site or email address. also where is the best place to have wheel repairs done around here. and by best i mean insanely cheap. thanx sorry i made this into a friggin novel but i'm just pissed. thanx again.

I have a set of Primax rims, they are on my beater car, and they are on there for a reason. The clearcoat on my polished lip is discolored and is now peeling off, similar to your problem. I don't think there is a Primax website, but I do know they are out of Los Angeles California and their full name is Primax wheel corporation. I hope it helps. If that does'nt work look in the wheels, tires and brakes part of the site and look for a thread on wheel paint and repairing curb scratches on rims, you may want to refinish them yourself.
