Talking Painted Calipers....*Pics*

Ok well I've had the paint for a while and today my dad and I weren't doing anything so I decided to paint the calipers. Opinions welcome.

A close up pic. Everyone usually goes red....I wanted to be different.

A distance pic.

Please opinions welcome. And yes the car will be dropped next weekend.

I wouldv'e painted them a different color...like blue or red always looks good, but great job. How long did it take? Factory rotors?

The reason why I painted them white is because most people I know paint them red or blue, just tryin to be a little different. All in all it took about 45 minutes. All we did was tape off the area around it and then put a peace of cardboard where ever we were spraying. Yes they are factory rotors for now......

Looks great!!
Make damn sure you did not even get a little bit of paint on your rotors or brake pads though, cause your brakes will stick when you stomp on them! (happened to me)

Wouldnt it be easier and better if you removed the caliper and painted them? And do most of these caliper paint comes in spray or paint?

did you spray it to white?

how did you mask the surrounding area? the area is really small, how did you mask them without having any paint goes into spaces??

thanks!

I bascially masked the areas around it, that took the longest part. The rest of it was just holding the cardboard behind where I was spraying. It got a little bit on the disc but we just spun it and whiped it off with the cleaner. By the way. I have pics of the car dropped, I just can't seem to load em up off my camera because of the damn bateries
lol
