uh oh-- Mex is up to something again...

hmmm

so i heard about this spraypaint used for tinting windows on model cars. I've also wanted to have a gunmetal headlight housing. well, I decided to give it a shot...

I put on one coating on the exterior lens... for now. every time i tried to put on a 2nd coating, it would come out foggy-like and not dry smooth. the picture i took makes it look darker than it really is, but that is what i want it to look like. subtle yet sweet

I think i could also give tinting film a try.

Looks good as always, I plan on doing the samething soon or sumthing like that I wanna tint mine and fix my reflector its too big. Did you spray the inside at all or just the outside?

no, i didn't take my headlight apart at all, just painted on the outside.

woiw, that turned out actually quite good, i just bought some JDM black housin headlights, if i would have done what you did. Could have saved me around 200.00 But thats ok. i like it thou.

I don't believe Tint would stay on. Would probably peel and fly off. That stuff is made to go on the inside. However, there's only one way to find out.
