check out my headlights
Well, one of them at least.
I painted them to match the body and did the modification on the reflector.

I know it's not clean, but the weather here has been horrible lately for washing a car.
What do you think? Let me know...

Looks good I was going to attempt this in a couple weeks I'm deciding where match with body color EBP or some black for a lil JDM look. Your lights look good like the reflector and matchs well with body color
I painted mine different, but i left the orange reflector out....and i left the parking lights still chrome..Check the attachments

THANKS
Thanks everybody.
To answer some questions...
DIY. I'll try to post it soon. I'll be working on it. I will only have the pics online for thirty days or so, but if somebody can post them properly, I'll email the whole thing to them. Later.
REFLECTOR COLOR
The reflector is definitely orange. It's just the angel of the camera, or something. I don't know. Here's another angle on it.
CHROME TURN SIGNALS
I got the turn signals to remain chrome by leaving that ugly orange piece clipped into place while I sprayed it. Here's a pic...

RUNNING LIGHTS PAINTING
I just got to lazy to not paint it. I tried taping it off, and when I pulled the tape off, it pulled some of the chrome off, so I would suggest that you cut some cardboard to fit perfectly in that space. The only problem is that you would have to find some way to hold it in there. I suppose if you don't mind getting paint on your fingers it could work, but I'm not sure. After painting it like that though, I really like it like that. It's less reflective and looks quite good in person.

Yeah, of course I remember you. Wuz up?
THE GRILL
I know, I know. I'm trying to convince my wife to let me spend the money to get it painted professionally. I suppose I could do it, but that sure is a lot of work. I also need to get the silver hood trim as opposed to the chrome one.
CLEAR COAT
I didn't. This was a practice light, I'm hoping to score some headlights on EBAY, but we'll see.

However, I would have left that little running light Chrome instead of painting the inside of it. Looks good. I clearcoated mine just for the hell of it.

i did the same thing with silver, but mine resulted from a mistake when i cleared my lights. i accidentally took some chrome off so i painted. i painted over the blinker part too tho, since its not chrome anymore it doesnt reflect orange when the light is off, but still shines bright when the thing is blinking...so thats cool.
i hate chrome, so this is soooo much better. my reflector is white too tho, i should take pix to compare.
did you do it w/ a paint gun or a spraypaint? cause it matches the color pretty good. you should paint the grill yourself and not spend money for someone to do it. just get some good clearcoat and do a few layers of that.
looks good tho!! i guess im not the only one with satin silver headlights anymore. lol...its subtle, but still makes a difference i think.

Yeah that looks unique we did that on my old civic and the light quality was horrible. Over all I like the look, but like my headlights all clear on my ride. But glad to see the clearing headlights came out good.
