As far as the white goes, I like it. When I get a body kit, I'm gonna have the grille inserts painted white. Same with the mesh on the upper grille. I'll get silver/mirror wondow tint to keep the look of the car light...

What's the color code for that paint color? I want a blue that's bright like that. Thanks man.
Flotsamm:
You're right... the camber is way off in the pics. Just installed Camber Kits the day after the pics. Also new tires...
FlyRiceRacer02:
The blue paint is plastikote import paint... code #5714. It is a light blue. Not as dark as what people consider "race blue." I would suggest doing some tests on platic before starting the project. The end result also depends on the color of the primer. I used a white primer, and thus it came out lighter. I would imagine that using a gray primer would add darkness to the color. A funny note on the color code- I think it is like 1978 Toyota blue! Ha! Check out Pep Boys. I had to go to a few different stores to get enough cans for the dash and the door panels. The rear deck will be next, but not until I get some tint.

The rims aren't my style and the dash is too bright for my taste, but it looks really good. I wouldn't think silver would go with white, but you pulled it off well. What kind of kit do you plan on getting?
Did you sand the dash, then prime, then paint? And how many coats did you do? I'd like to a few interior parts, but my style is too calm to have bright blue for a dash. Nevertheless, you did a great job!
Then... what kind of tint do you plan on getting? I think you should go with a slight metallic, not silver, but not flat black. I've got flat black all around, but I'm on an all white/black/silver scheme. Well, only silver rims. You seem to like to be seen a little more than me, so metallic all the way.
EDIT - I just read how many coats. Oops... pays to read sometimes.

No sanding. The piece of the dash that I painted blue actually has a fabric material glued to it. Sanding would not work. For some of the flat trim pieces (with no texture) sanding is always a good idea. It helps the paint bond. Just make sure to sand evenly. I am thinking of experimenting with fiberglass next. You can order a spare dash piece for just over $100 at hondaautomotoive parts.com...
As far as the body kit, I want to get a Tsunami front and a Xenon rear. Not sure on the side skirts yet... I will paint the grille inserts white on the front to match the rims...

Sweet ride I really love the wheels. They remind me of my Konig Traffiks just without the polished lip but keep up the good work.
