I like how he had the money to Turbo AND Supercharge his engine (which wouldn't make sense, and wouldn't really work on an inline 4) and his future plans are to do an Engine Swap... So he blows around 4 grand for a turbo, and probably 4 more for a custom supercharger... not to mention some mad scientiest way of hooking them up...So, now he's going to throw away 8 grand so he can spend 10 grand more to put a different engine in his car... that would produce the power as his "superturboed" car...It's a good thing he's got a dual exaust on his 4 cylinder since it's got the superturbo...THEIR is a reason why are cars don't have dual exaust... IT DOENS'T DO ANYTHING... He's gonna f-up his engine, he doesn't have a blow off valve...

I know i'm being an ***, but why!!! WHY!!!

Unless you've got a V-6 in there... You're total BS

actually the dual exhausts do do something for his car.

It 1. makes it sound like *** and 2. reduces backpressure to the point to which power is LOST.

also the Old Super CHarged MR2s had a turbo kit made for them by Greddy, so yea, you CAN do it on an I4 engine... not that it changes the fact that hes a rice liEr.

not to mention you cant have a header w/ a turbo.

So it had a Super Charger and a Turbo charger at the same time? Didn't know they did that. I suppose you could bi-turbo a 4 cylinder if you had one for low rpms, and one for high rpms then i'd make sense, but other wise it'd be pointless right?

There are some Subarus with Flat 4's that have sequential turbos so there is low and high range boost. There's a version of the Legacy in Japan that is turbocharged like this.
And you can supercharge a turbo.... You would just be pressurizing air that has already been pressurized by the turbo system. So I guess having a supercharger for the low range would work when the turbo is not very effective, but once the turbo spools up, you better hope you've got one hell of an engine.
