skyline taillights conversion
Has anyone else done a skyline taillights conversion on their civic? If they did, do they have any pictures I can look at? Does anyone know how much it would cost to do this conversion?

Skyline and Is300, not to mentchen 2k2 lights are the most played out conversions.. don't get me wrong they look really nice on SOME cars.. and iluvbritney is right the is300 would def look better cause of the shape of our tail lights alright. almost a perfect match.

What is so special about the IS300 Tails? Besides being the "original" altezza, I really don't see what's so special... they look like every other altezza light.
Here's one that would work that I haven't seen done....

I agree with boilermaker - I think the Benz conversion would look sick! I actually was asking around about that a few months ago, don't know how much it would cost. I like it because they're basically the same thing as ours, yet have more detail.

I spent 1425 points to do this.

it prolly would cost big $$$. the shape is similar, but there are plenty of differences- the lines are rounded, ours are straight. the overall lense is rounded- ours actually bend inward. our tail lights wrap around the corner of the car before they slope downward. these come to a point at the corner of the car

I can tell you now the Benz conversion would be hella $$$$$. Im not sure if it would even look good on our car.
The Benz is a lot curvier than ours. It would look odd. But a to someone that tries it

S2k's lights are pretty sweet maybe someone should try that on a coupe don't think it would go good with the trunk lines though. Skyline conversions don't really look good on civics the lights are too big well r34 lights at least. IS300 looks good and those benz light would look pretty good I say SLK lights on a CRX in last months honda tuning looked pretty good
