Exhaust getting louder?

I bought my muffler awhile back now and I seem to notice that it is getting louder. Is it that the computer now reconizes that there is more air flow or did the padding in the muffler all melted away which now does not keep the tone down? Dunno if this even makes sense???

It's perfectly normal. This just means it's getting "broken in"

The heat from the exhaust is causing the packing in the muffler to "melt" or "blow out" and usually happens to any new muffler over time.

ak can only hope to improve
If you don't have a resonator, you might wanna get a 18-22" resonator welded on.

Reduces sound = No ricey sound =

Sure it reduces airflow, but not enough noticeably (sp?).
