will bigger wheels give me a lift

Ok, so far my car is lowered all around 2 in. And i'm certain that i'm gonna be throwin some 17's as soon as the tax return rolls around. So if i do that will it add some height between the ground and my car. Cause in march i'm gonna turn 19, so i figured i'd get a new bumper. And i don't want to be scrapin over bumps and driveways. I am hopin that when i add these 17's i want, it'll raise my car some, so i don't have to worry about scrapin the hell out of my bumper.

check out the civ and foci of arlington.

it depends on the tire size.. ya 215-45-17 will raise it up a lil.. 215-40-18 will raise it up a lil more. 215-35-19 will raise that up even a lil more...
oh but then keep in mind, bigger tire = higher car BUT it also = smaller gap.. so you might run with 215-35-19 and 2" drop. you should be fine with 215-45-17 tho

I was wondering the same thing. I have goldlines and octane sideskirts and it is a little too low for me. I have 17's now. can I safely upsize to 19s and pick up a little lift?

i have goldlines and a kit. I have 210 15 60's. perfect match to the odometer. I have filled my gaps and am hangin over in the rear. the rimdoesn't mean crap. Its the total aspect ratio obove stock. also with a lowering you will lose your ability to get huge rims and high tires. you won't be able to turn. basically your (]//////>. Get the bigest you can go. and hope it helps

BTW I have 5 inches off the ground. Just take it slow.

Remember that it's the overall wheel diameter! Tire and wheel! Use the tire calculator to figure out what's up.
