decisions on what to do with money
ok, here is my deal. I am getting about 1000 back from taxes in a matter of weeks. And i know for sure the money will be invested in my civ. But i have 4 major things i want to do. But i just can't make sure which one i really want to do first. So maybe some of my fellow civ ryders can help me out, and point me in the right direction.
My 4 options:
System: a sony headunit, a 12' JL W6, and an MTX amp, somewhere around $800.00
Engine: Arospeed headers, AEM pulleys and HP Catback. around $500.00
Rims: some 17's or even 18's would be great, i would really like to get the Arospeed riots. $900.00
Kit: I'd have to go with the Sabre kit, cause nobody has it in Texas, they all have the damn octane. 1,200.00 (kit and painted)
I'm kinda leaning towards the rims cause i'm tired of the stock hubs. I'm just not feeling them anymore. But who knows i might change my mind again in the next 10 mins.

I love those rims, good choice
I just talked one of my boys into getting those rims in gunmetal on his red civic. Just like 1siksivik said, rims are the biggest mod you can do to the exterior to me also. People always look at the rims first when they notice a tricked out car. With the left over money I'd get an intake or either just say if for more mods because after your rims you're gonna be hooked..lol.

Rims make the car. It's kinda the place you have to start blowing money on the exterior. A kit on hubbies won't look right. The stereo is an option if you want to be heard and not really seen, but if you want to be noticed, rims are the way to go.
I sure wish my car was newer

Go with the rims. That will make the biggest difference. The performance stuff... Kit on stock rims doesn't look right like Boilermaker1 said. You can buy the stereo in pieces and everything will still be okay. But I think what will make you feel the best about your car is the rims.
