Window Tinting
Hey, I just got my windows tinted. I was just wondering if it "clears up" after a couple days. Right now, the back window seems almost blurry (hazy) from the inside. Does that go away in a couple days? I have a lifetime warranty and stuff. Its 35% charcoal if it matters.
Thanks everyone.

Yea, same here. Mine had bubbles in it too which went away after 2 days. The guy told me to keep my car out in the sun as much as possible to get the adheisive to stick good and the bubbles cleared right up.

no its not dry yet it takes DAYS to dry then once its fully dry take a damp rag and a dry one and clean the windows on the inside and you should be ok. If not take it back and get it redone.

Yep, teh foggy will go away, but depending on the quality of tint they used, you may have some permanent ripple in the film (is that the best way to describe it?), dont worry, its nearly never noticiable from the drivers seat.

I dont think i will have any "ripple". I paid $159 cause they use the best stuff. If anything isn't perfect, he will fix it, so Im not worried, just curious.
What do yall think of the sunstrips? I didn't get one but he said I could add one for $20 whenever. I dont think if I like them or not, I wish we had the factory fading one.

It will clear up. The time it takes to clear up will be related to the outside temp. If its cold where you live, it may take up to two weeks. My dad got his done in the fall and it took a week and a half to clear up. When I got mine done, it was spring and the temp was about 75 so it took two days.
Hey also make sure you dont use windex, but a automotive window cleaner. The windex will also make it hazy and blurry. On my older civ, they were blured I dont know why though, I was just told someone must have used windex to clean it.
