got a new camera mount :)
I got a new camera mount in my car. I got some videos of racing, you can check the thread here.
A guy from s2ki.com made it for me for free. I can turn the camera any way I want, and it holds the camera really steady. I was really impressed with that, especially when slamming the gears and shifting at 9000rpm. It's a cool setup. He made it from some material at work... he builds battleships!
He's an engineer of some kind I think. Anyways, I think it's solid, so tell me what you think of the view from where the camera is.
(by the way, I will only be posting videos of my racing in the street encounters section, so for those of you who read my stories and like the vids, you gotta look there)
Oh yeah, he even painted the mount red, so it matched my car interior. lol

Hey, me and my cousin got bored one day so we made a camera mount for my car. It mounts on the headrests and positions the camera right between the two front seats. You can turn it to view out the front, sides, or rear and it's pretty damn steady. It's pretty cool. I'll post pictures if anyone wants to see. And I can make em if you want one.

That's awesome. It's nice to have a decent mount in the car. NOt just for racing purposes, but any kind of car meets or when carving some twisty roads.
