So tonight, around 11:45, I was coming home and goin down this country road. I dont remember what happened, but i woke up and my car was about 20 feet in the woods, facing the road on the opposite side, and it was really messed up. No windows, no front end, I dont remember any of it happening, but I guess I climbed out of the window and I managed to call my rents. When the cop came, he said (after markiong off the skid mars and everything) that I was going about 65, ran off the road, over-compensated, and skidded 120ft, until i hit a tree and stopped. The cop and my dad said that I am extremely lucky to be alive. Luckily the side-airbags went off, which is prob waht saved me. On the bright side though, I didn't get a ticket and maybe I can get a 5-spd now =) But sadly, another 7th gen is gone.

i know this sounds bad, and i feel for ya man, i almost totaled my 7thgen... luckily a body shop saved it, but if you get to take stuff off the wrecked car, can you get me all the little door panel clips?

i would, but since both door and the frame around them are all twisted, it would be hard to get anything off of them

Yeah mine doesn't have side air bags and mine is a 01 ex coupe but dunno I think they started making the side airbags in them after the 01 models. My dads 01 accord has them and I really wish my ride had them.

Yea I had a mild concusion but that's it. I have(well, had )a 01', and side airbags were an option. They def. saved me from major injury. I wasn't drunk or high, and I don't think I fell asleep, but who knows.

My dad is an EMT and he says thats a cause sometimes, just blackout for no reason. At least you're OK man
