i havent ran it on the 1/4 mile yet but ive raced 99-00 civic si's with headers
cai, and a catback exhaust and i got him by a car and a half. i can keep up with my
friends eclipse GST. ive been saving since last summer and it cost me about $2500.
running injectors, fuel pump, and the Vafc. it has a lil lag but kicks in at 2700 rpms.
after that it hits 6psi becuz im still using the stock wastegate. We are going to be
programming the HONDATA for my car probably in january or febuary.

the intercooler doesnt even cool the turbo down, the intercooler is there
to cool air down before it hits your intake manifold, running under 7-8 psi you dont even need an
intercooler. some stock turbo cars down even come with, if they do they are
small as ****, look how big a stock eclipse intercooler is and it runs 12psi.

right it cools the air going in to the motor. hot air going into the motor equils loss of hp! you need cool dence air.

Nice job man...hey did u make the Fuel system a return one or did u keep it the as returnless. cuz i talked to Moocow (he had a turbo 2k1 also) at one of our meets and he said that his turbo system didnt consist of a return fuel system. They just put a turbo on it and he was scared to $hit to drive it around he said. SO just curious for that amount u paid, is it a hookup price or was it cuz they didnt convert the fuel system..

Yo Black99Vtec...I have no problems with your stupid postings. But chill with want to race every one. No ones talking about racing. We're talking about how nice his turbo setup is. (Very Nice, Nice Car too). CHILL OUT stop posting BS. YOUR CAR IS SLOW! Face it. Its ok you're just in denial. I was there once but i got over it. Till you post a dyno your car is just a s fast as mine. SLOW AS $HIT.

HOw long did it take for the installation? This kid near my wehere I live said he can get a turbo setup for $1000 using a used turbo like from a Jetta. You think thats a good idea? Can you really feel a difference with a turbo? I WANT I WANT!

yes i do remember sayin that to you My01hx, im not runnin no return fuel line,
and it runs great. alot of these rumors going around sayin that theres alot that you half to do
to turbocharge these civics are wrong and right. Fuel management is a big key in turbocharging
any car. i was looking at getting 450cc injectors and ran accross a few of fuel management
ways to go with our civics. Super Map Controller (SMC) Awsome low cost device for budget turbo
setups running 450cc injectors and less than 12 psi of boost. Much better than using an FMU
and inline fuel pump. Imitates the AFC "hack". Perfect for those who want a smooth, reliable
turbo car without having to pay a ton of money.
Or go with the HONDATA. which is waht im going with i think it costs around $650 or $700 for it.
i still have some ways to go before its done.
