I don't know if it is easy as putting a GSR in a vic but I heard that delsol and crx are harder...
Can't wait to see the video of a 7th gen and this delsol GSR

Yeah, the engine mounts are very similar, if not the same. the only thing I can think of are clearance issues with the radiator and exhaust manifold or perhaps the intake manifold being awfully close to the firewall, but that can be easily cured. The Del Sol Si came factory with a B16A motor, and was an excellent little car, I've driven a few and loved the seats, handling, and of course... the targa top! One problem, I HAD to have the targa top off to drive it... i'm 6'6" tall.
By the way, if anyone ever runs across a Del Sol Si with the factory Grasshopper Green paint, please shoot me a PM.

GSR in a Del Sol is simple--same engine mounts as a B16a, and we all know that the Del Sol VTEC has a B16a, so it's an easy swap.
The us SI only has SOHC Vtec engine (basically an ex).

dont use a gsr motor. use a b20 bottom end (out of a crv) with either a type r head or a gsr head.. that is the ultimate combo.. the b20 bottom ends are very strong and will take very well to boost. and if your running a turbodont use a vtec head. vtec and turbos do not go togethere very well. ues a nonturbo head. but for sure use that bottom end.

would you say the b20 bottom end is best for any applicaton, even you don't replace the internals? i hear a lot about b20 hybrid motors going out within 50k miles because they weren't designed to handle high compression.
