they wont be blue or lime green or anything its very subtle anyone that went to import revolution in chicago... there was a silver car with the same type

Go for yours man. If you plan on doing what you say, I think they would look good. That is, only if they are shadow flames that are a different shade of your present color and not a contrasting color that sticks out like a sore thumb.

Nah. It fails to make the car look fast... let alone better than it looks without them.

I believe only that kinda stuff belongs on trucks or something.

I dont think a dark colored or bright colored flame would be that good, but a ghost or shadow flame would be cool. Just My Opinion

I cant find his ride in the members pages but didnt numberonecivic have black flames on his red car?

keep it nice and clean, when the car gets a few years behind it, you'll appreciate it more, I think older cars with decals and stickers on them look cheesy.

Personally I dont like that style of flames. But you could try this style. The ones on my car maybe? I dont know if you like them or not.

I think the shadow or ghost flames in the first post would look alright on a silver car... as long as it's done subtle and decently tasteful... but yeah, like most people say it's your car, do what you want.
