im not doubting that that is a CTR... but im not sure that it is in the us in that manner... i dont think french cars are like that... i could be mistaken... so would someone like to confirm this? i know german cars are LHD but im not sure about french... and i dont think importing a car from europe would be that hard because the emissions standards in europe are much harder than here... the population density is much higher there.... so just as a courtesy they build them like that....
Here's a link to Honda of France and the Civic Type R. Honda of France You may not be able to read french, but at least it will show some people that the steering wheel is on the left hand side.

Sweet car man! I am considering trading my sedan for an si - again. LOL So how many miles you got on her? Had any problems driving around and such? If I saw you going down the road I'd probably get in a wrech from rubber-necking.

Don't give me that bullshit! If anything I've been neutral this whole time. I'm the one that's been asking most of the questions. You know, the ones that you answer the 3rd or 4th time I ask them? MILITARY AND CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES of the U.S. government returning at the end of an assignment to extended duty outside the customs territory of the U.S. may include a conforming vehicle among their duty-free personal and household effects. The auto must have been purchased abroad and be in its owner's possession prior to departure. Generally, extended duty is 140 days or more.
You may import your U.S.-version vehicle under a Customs bond and have any qualified mechanic perform the necessary work. You should contact the EPA directly for detailed requirements and options before shipping your vehicle.
Crash standards: You must file form DOT HS-7 at the time of entry

Hey I've heard that you have to know what you're doin to get that AEM software just right. Especially if you're runnin 18psi, a dyno would be your best bet, even if you have to haul it somewhere. But then again, not only do you have to find a dyno......but you have to find someone that knows how to tune with the AEM system. How much internal work did you have to do in order to get that K20 ready for that much boost? And yes, we would like to see a picture of the turbo on the car. I've seen a million pictures of turbos sitting on the floor. I want to see a pic of a turbo on a Type R.
While I'd love to know more about your car and see tons of pics and dyno sheets (as you get them), I'm starting to get fed up with your bullshit replies. An 03 Turbo Type R is a unique car in the states, but it isn't special enough for you to be trying to hold everyone in suspense. People will just start to get aggravated and pretty soon either nobody will pay attention to you or you'll get flamed in every post. Just a bit of advice man. I'd like for you to become a productive member of this site so we can all see where you're goin with this Type R. Be straight forward. If you have pics, show em. If you have answers, give em. That's what this site is for, not to lead people in circles.

(RIGHT HAWK smile) and every other thing in the world, It was you aall that slammed me with out provocation, I train young boys to respect authority, but until I recieve some in return, why on God's green earth would I give you all the "time of day" are you all the ULTIMATE WEBSITE"?
I came here to talk about a car and posted the pics as fast as I could,
Yeah I withheld info, not for suspense, but I am not going to tell a bunch of lame 16 yearolds that bash me to a bloody pulp
HOW TO BUILD A NICE CAR?
Let's see where the respect is

So....we were gonna call you a mommas boy? For postin pics to back yourself up? And the only time I slammed you is when you failed to answer a question after it was asked 4 times. Nobody cares if you'd give us the time of day, and nobody claimed 7thgencivic.com "Ultimate Website". (although it's mighty close
) You can go find some other "young boys" to train because I'm 22 and well, since this post made absolutely no sense, you will get no respect from me or the other "16 yearolds" on this site. And please don't act like you're God or that we need you here to tell us how to build a nice car. It only makes me laugh more... Thread Starter

Holy ****, now I'm really stumpted. Please humor me and answer a few MORE questions for me....
First off, is that the same car that you posted before? I mean, the interior looks awfully different to me...
Here we have the picture you just posted. Notice the A/C buttons below his hand.

Uh oh! Where'd they go in this picture? Did u have them relocated?

And what about the A/C control **** right below the center A/C vents.
Yeah, that's in a different place too...

Is this what you were trying to cover up with your piece of paper?
Second, is that the same engine bay? Defferent dip stick, oil cap, and the head is now painted silver. Sure, I could understand changing to aftermarket dipstick and oil cap, but why repaint the head silver? Leave it red like the other Type Rs....

Sorry man, it's just all very suspicious.
