I used to have a 2000 SI and well I just bought a 2003 Civic EX and Ive been reading and checkin out some rides on this site and ive seen fresh stuff but gotta ? Ive been seeing something that I have no idea wtf it is when you take off the bumper...well on the passenger side under the headlight after takin off the bumper theres like this horn type thing there wat is that? can you take it off? if so how? and do you need it? b.c. what do u do with it if u put a CAI on it? and oh yah i seen some peeps have 2 or 3 on their cars WTF i didnt know the 6th gens and 7th gens were so advanced lol thanx guys....

Are you talking about the air bag sensors? Lots of wires? Don't touch that!!!
On my 2002 EX, the horn is located on the driver side, just under the 5mph bumper. Perhaps they put in an additional one because its so weak.
Can you describe this "horn type thing" with a little more detail?

OK well to answer both your answers I found a picture that you guys can take a look at...Im not sure what side this "horn lookin thing is on" so if u can let me know id appreciate it...anyways best pic i found to explain it would be from the member "GREY" you can jus search him for a 2001 LX Silver Metallic 5spd civic and there should be a picture there....the horn type thing is red etc...so thanx a lot guys...oh yah also...what side is it on? and will it get in the way of me installing a CAI? like will i have to remove it etc if it is on passenger side....thanx

I think I'm confused about what it is your looking for. However; on Grey's car.. He has triple airhorns installed (as I do) which are on the right side under the battery. He doesn't have a CAI but I do, and can tell you it will not be anywhere near that space.
Your question pertains to something under the headlight, the CAI does not reach that far out like the Si's did..

Side note: why did you get rid of the Si?

For the horN? hmm anyways thanx for the info...umm i had a 13 sec all motor civic but i had to get rid of it b.c. insurance and payments were wayyyy to expensive and i had jus lost my job...my parents worked with me and said if i got rid of it and found another job theyd jus pay cash for the civic so now here i am with a new civic and gonna start tryin to make it quick again...
