That looks cool. I'm assuming the air/fuel gauge is a working guage and not just for looks although its hard to tell from the pic, so did you basically lose the whole compartment that was there? It looks like you shaved the handle from the compartment door, then put two screws on either side after cutting the hole on the left to put in the guage. Then that's either the carbon fiber sheet you can buy and stuck on, or you cut your own piece of cf. Am I right? Not something I would do, I'd rather have audio equip there, but thats an awesome project. Post a pic of your entire dash.

very very niice..but i three things
1. i think it would look better w/ the carbon fiber dash kit (whole dash)
2.why not blue c/f to match ur interior
3. when i get an aftermarket h/u( presuming u are) wouldnt it look a liil weird?
just my 2cents
other than that it looks good

ok
1. I only wanted carbon fiber accents (I am makinga few other pieces) to compliment my blue dash
2. At the time I couldnt find blue CF, besides I like how subtle the regular CF looks.
3. If my headunit haddent gotten stolen then I would know how it would look, but I cant see why it would look wierd.f
I am about to go to my garage and finish my shifter plate, Instead of having a boot I have a flat CF plate w/ the shift gate cut out. Unfortunetly my home made short shifter made the gears soo close that the gates overlap..hmm this is gonna be tuff to fabricate.

You have to do a little bit of "shaving" with a dremel tool, but other than that it wasnt very hard to make. Ill post a DIY sometime next week, right now im too busy working on my car.
