Yes, insurance is good for something other than robbing you. I was coming home from school today and I was in the leftlane and there was a dump trunk in the far right lane and gravel poured out of the back of it and chipped my windshield in 3 spots. I called my mom and told her to write down the name of the company. So when I got home I called Allstate and they said I'd get a new one for free!! So now I just have to wait on honda to send the glass company a new one and they'll come out to my house and install it. So at least in the end it didn't hurt me or the car any. I still feel like strangling somebody right now [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

that's good. i myself has a problem with my crv. it was hit by a pebble on i-95 and it has a small chip that caused the small crack in the windshield.

There is a couple of little specs on the paint where it hit, but I have a bottle of touch up paint from honda so the next time it warms up a bit i'll go outside and fix it. It doesnt look like it messed up the paint. I'm just glad I don't have to worry about anything and the insurance is taking care of everything.
