Finally......Sponsorship
I was at work, and there are a couple of us who act as sales reps and go and meet owners of companys to give them the best quote when bidding on a job. Well I was a little tired of being in the office that day, so I decided to go and look at a job for a guy while he played hookie. I met this real ritzy guy, who had a mercedes limo and I was like damn. I usually don't drive my purple people eater (purple 2k1 civic) that is not what I realy call my car but anyway, he walked over to me and we met and started talking. He didn't seem realy interested in what we were discussing. He kept looking over my shoulder to look at my car. So he interupted me to ask a question about my car. He asked if I had won any trophies or if I had a sponsor. I pulled some of the trophies out of the trunk to show him and said I was not sponsored. He said today is your lucky day. I rode with him in his limo to a restaurant where we finished are discussion on the job, then we discussed my car. Well, lets just say he was more than glad to sponsor me. He had a few other business associates ther as well who all decided to pitch in. I also explained to them about the custom turbo and my custom interior i have. Here is the companies that sponsored me:
1. Window shine America
2. Ammaco gas station
3. Uncle mikes salvage yard
4. Tru Clean Tire Shine
5. Pete & pete performance racing
I am not positive on the names. I have another meeting with them soon.
They agreed to pay for all my expenses for car shows (gas, food, entry fee, hotels, and whatever else) They also put a fixed dollar amount into parts for my car. So hopfully I can get the wide body kit design I have been working on completed and a few other tricks up my sleve. I had to brag a litlle. I think it is awsome. Not a big sponsor but a start for now.

The cool thing is that I don't have to put the actuall stickers on my car. I explained to them about the paint and they understood. All I have to do is have a billboard type deal with me. You know the kind people usually have that tell information about there car, thats all I have to have and pictures from the shows of my car. I think it is awsome. Also, they said it is to late now for hot import nights but maybe at the next big show they will put up a booth of there products.
