Rep Power: 0 If that's to the wheels, which believe dyno's are, then that's not bad. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but figure 85% drive train lost, you're running 108 whp stock, so, if that's whp, you had a 36 whp gain. Not bad at all, see as how it would be 170 hp at the flywheel. But if the 144 is at the flywheel, then that just goes to show how tuned these engines already are from Honda and how hard it's going to be to get hp out of them.

Rep Power: 395 Yeah, I was going to say... That's not bad at all. How the hell can you dyno it at the flywheel? Do they take off the frickin drivetrain and hook it up to the dyno that way? No! It's to the wheels! That's 111hp to the wheels stock (I think?), so you gained 33hp. That's a 30% increase in hp. Very nice. I'll take all of your parts if you're not happy with them. Rep Power: 0 Hey guy..you can't ACCURATELY dyno to the flywheel with the motor IN the car.
All dyno's that you'd be able to test on are measuring WHEEL HORSE POWER
144hp to the ground huh? Not at all..not even close. 150whp in a neon is a low 14 second car. B16A2 Civic Si's put out close to 144hp to the wheels.
Dude..get off the rock.. Plain and simple. And if you want people to believe you...scan your Dyno sheet, and post it for ALL to see...
Cheers!

You mean Greddy exhaust?
Do you mean you have [B]A/b] DC Sports HEADER (not plural unless you swapped in a V-6 or V-8...
Unless your SOHC motor took some VIAGRA and sprouted another camshaft, you could only have one CAM GEAR
Thanks...

Rep Power: 0 And at the 1/4 mile? What is this car time? I don't believe that we can REALY mesure the car puissance with a dyno....the driver on the dyno don't realy matter......but when on the track....there is the real test!
If you don'T have tried it.....put it on the track and there you'll see!!!!!!
My opinion....!!
Great engine mods dude!
Hey.......can the 19'' wheels make the result different on the dyno? Just wandering.....

Rep Power: 0 i just love the way you jump on my one spelling mistake very nice and friendly. Anyways for you that do care i still feel that hp is a bunch of crock.
aem says you get 5-6 hp from pulleys 5 hp from cam gears, 10 hp from a header, 10 from exhaust and intake so i know they are lying
last night i took my 19s and put on my stock hubs and i rana 14.9 0-60 in 6.6

boy you need to learn about cars. from I/H/E your only going to gain like 5 hp and ur sayin a header adds 10 hp then intake and exhaust is another ten. boy you need to search this site and read boy. IMO.

Rep Power: 0 hey-lets clear soemthing up!
AEM PULLIES does not give HP, it frees up HP, making accessories runs slower! b/c of the smaller pully!
i had an AFX pully on MY Neon and it freed up and the REVS was so quick, i hit redline of 7400RPM no probelm!
as for 19's, i believe it makes a huge difference to the wheels, think about it! all that Circumference that has to spin for one full turn.......
that'll make a huge difference not only in the 1/4 but also dynoeing!
take care!
p.s someone is reading too much SUPERSTREET

Rep Power: 0 what did u expect from I/H/E, did u expect ur economy car to go super fast. if u want a true investment, drop a turbo kit. do some major tuning, then you will see mad gains. till then be glad for what u got

Rep Power: 344 I think he went ahead and estimated it at the flywheel..
since on that other thread he claims that his car dynos 138 at the wheel (which is pretty damn good)
he's not being too consistent though. so I'm confused. I mean on that thread he made well over 31 peak hp so I duno why he thinks that 2 grand isn't worth it...
in this thread he said the difference is 17 hp (thats the flywheel difference, anyhow) and I still dont get that too.
*shrug*
dont want to call b/s or anything since I never do, but I think you need to clear up ur info on both threads dude. plus that dyno scan does look weird, u gotta admit.
either way thats a lot of hp for the mods.
note: 144 to the flywheel is more believeable than 138 to the wheels. 144 to the flywheel translates to about 122 hp or so at the wheel (using 15% difference, thats rather high actually, I think our cars is 12%, but this is according to his 107 hp dyno) which means he made an extra 15 hp. thats more believable.
if this is all true, the 138 hp the wheel is a lot dude! I mean, 14.9 is fast! you're not happy?
