This topic has been brought up a number of times, but it doesn't seem to phase anyone.
I am one of the older members (34) on here, and people are always flaming my ride because of my wing, although I dont care what others think, it's not cool !!!
The problem I have is coming on here all the time and reading posts from flamers regarding everyone's rides!
Ditch the wing.........change the wheels.............looks like crap [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]............
It just seems that were at the point now where people are affraid to do mods to their rides without asking for everyone's opinion in order to not get flamed !!!
This sport is supposed to be about originality, your own tastes, preferences and such, not about being the same as everyone else!
Not everyone here has money growing on trees, like some (although we wish we did ) , and as we all know, this is not a cheap hobby, so why is it, that the guys/ gals just getting started have to be subjected to crude comments, sometimes degrading comments, or just flaming comments that sometimes really hurt other people's feelings??????? I mean come on people !!!!!!!!!!! Grow up! Do you flamers think you are better than everyone else? Did God create you with some special powers that the rest of us didn't get? Or is it
that you enjoy making other people feel inferior ???????
I myself, have NEVER posted anything negative towards someone's ride! Even if its not exactly my taste!
Some people have to work at something for a long time, and finally when they get it................It gets shot down faster than an enemy Mig by an ace F-16 fighter pilot!!!!!!! And all their hard work................ it just flew out the window!!!
So, all you flamers ( I know who you are ) ( you know who you are ) enough is enough guys !!!!!!!
If you dont like a ride that someone is trying to show............then move to the next one !!!!!!
Simple as that !!!!!
This is an awesome site, and its a damn shame that a few of you have turned it into a drag to read all the time, think of others for a change, not just yourself!!!

The WHOLE point of posting your ride is to get oninons! We do not live in a candy coated world... some people will just not like your mod. Do not ask for others opinons if you don't want them. And since this is in refrence to my post earlier, I said Looks nice but "IMO" ditch the wing. <font color=white style="background-color: 3E3E3E;">Get that IMO</font ft>

This is about everyone in general! I didn't post this for me, I posted this for all the members that are constantly getting flamed on!
That is all that I was trying to accomplish!
So as far as me whinning..............It was not for me! It was for everyone!

Rep Power: 0 Look, the bottom line is ....my original post was NOT ABOUT MY CAR, NOR WAS I ASKING FOR ANYONE'S OPINION ON MY RIDE!!!!.. however, there is obvious lack of comprehension on your part when you read something....(may I suggest a few more courses on reading comprehension at your local high school?).....
The whole point of this was to say........(PAY ATTENTION).....when someone....anyone...posts on this forum regarding any new mods they have done (now dont lose me here ok?----anyone, not me ANYONE!) the first thing that I see happening is people (like you) flaming their rides!!! Why? when this is supposed to be a forum about our 7th gen civics, we are proud of what we do, and usually get pretty hyped about showing off what we have done. Now I do understand what you are saying about, "if someone (again not me) asks for an opinion, you give it, but damn, call me old fashioned but, an opinion is one thing...what goes on here is nothing more than rude, and people getting their rocks off by making fun of others rides and making themselves feel better at that persons expense. What im trying to say here is...........CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS WHAT IS NEEDED...not flaming!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
