I really need to wax my car too, but I don't have anyplace that's shady to do it in. It sucks having a garage that is more of a junk room than a garage. We seriously need to clean that place out so I can start working on my car in the shade.

i used meguiars wax, i recomend it. good stuff, and it was only like 5 bucks it repells water like crazy. i also put the rain-x stuff on the windows, my car now has like a force field around it. and the car feels sooooo smooth.

yeah, i hate getting the wax stuck in those places, but this meguiars stuff didn't seem to do that. i was trying to be careful in the begining and not get it stuck, but then i just decided that was too much work. and when i went to take the wipe the wax off the car, it came right off the weather strips and all the plastic. no problem whatsoever. no, it's not too much, in fact when i was putting it on i thought it was too little. i put it on so it went almost clear, but it dried white, so it looks like i overdidi it.
Look @ the pic. There's White and there's a haze of white. There should be only a haze of white but you got dark spots of white all over the place.
what kinda wax did you use anyway?

i used meguiars wax, i applied generously, but only put a little too much in maybe in a couple of spots. besides, it's not like it's hurting the car. u have to wipe it off once it dries anyway.

Next time you wax the car, use only back and forth or side to sside motions. If you do it in a circualr motion you are causing swirl marks to occur.
