everyone's opinion....

i want to put a diy lower grill on my car. now the problem is, i don't want to go through cutting the entire black part off as much as possible. i was thinking putting fogs where the oem would go(sides) and then putting the grill in the middle. someone had told me that i shouldn't put aftermarket (piaa 1000x) fogs there (where the oem go) coz it would look ugly. i'm not sure if it fits, but would it really look bad? should i just cut the whole black part out and get the fogs installed in the middle? i'm not experienced with this kind of stuff and am afraid i'm going to mess up my bumper.

anyone's opinion would be appreciated. thanks!

i wouldnt go with aftermarket with custom grill , yes it will look ugly. i ve seen alot of cars like that . just dont match.
i say go with oem fogs and custom grill? thats my plan for my car.

i saw a guy with a 2k1 and oem fogs and he put the grillecraft grill right over it....he has HID in his fogs so he has no trouble with the fogs...maybe you should try that
