New pics... finally!

Hi!

I’m not the most active member here, but I thought I post some new pics of my ride. Put on the kit a while ago.

Anyway, here you go.

One of the cleanest looking sedans I've seen in quite awhile. I'm definately feeling that kit on them. Also, with the dash, that's sick looking too! I've just got one question for you - your gauges, namely the pointers, how did you get that red shadow under them? That doesn't look normal - almost photochopped. Care to explain? Thanks!

About the needles in the gauges... It's because when I put everything back together I forgot the little rings or what you should call them... anyhow they usually blocks the backlighting so thats why I have that shadow. I think it looks kinda cool and the illumination is better so I left it this way.

Thanks again I guess it should be kinda unique here in europe too

Yeah I know, I've been here for ever... longer than many here I guess I just post when I want to show something off or something like that

For those that remember I posted about my grill (must have been the, or one of the first DIY grills... beat ALLMAN anyway ) and posted a little in that blue lights thread in da beginning.

And for dual exhaust... yeah... it does beg for it! Exhaust and a few thing has to wait for winter when I have my garage ready. I’m not gonna drive it this winter if all goes as planned. And next spring a few things should have happened!

A few answers:

The blue lights, I opened up all switches and controls and put blue LED:s and resistors in the places that had bulbs in them.
Those buttons under the handbrake are for the heated seats.
And the kit is the Xenon kit and costed a few bucks to get it over here anyway

They may look photochopped but no!

And as I said it's because of the missing rings under the needles and more because the needles conduct light and it's reflected on the film. And the gauges are not reverse indigos nor are the bulbs red, just the needles. The gauges are home made. BUT, they are not the same in those two pics, on the first one I just have blue light behind the original gauges.

Man, that looks tight as hell. You're making me more of a fan for the Xenon sideskirts . . . I may have to look at them beside the 4dr kaminari skirts now. I'm still not sure yet, but yours look HOT. Your interior work is tight. You've done about the same thing I.C.E.-wise that I'm planning, with a graphic EQ under your HU, except the HU I want has a 6.5 inch in-dash touch-screen monitor. Was it difficult to mount the lower DIN? Just wondering. Also, wondering if you're considering a spoiler. The OEM spoiler would set it off nicely, if you haven't considered it. Even no it has a nicely refined look to it. It's sporty, but it still has the classy luxurious appearance. Overall, that's a nice frickin' ride. Have a couple of 's on me.

My fellow European member So how's it over there in Finland with Honda's? Are you also like the only one in town to drive a 7th gen ? Whenever I see one I actually follow it around for a while to make me remember what it looks like on the outside.

BTW Man, I really like your body kit.

Hey!

To mount the lower DIN I removed the little compartement under the HU. What I didn't know at the time was how to remove the center dash-piece So I used a blade from a metal saw to cut away the two scres holding it. But when that was removed I just squeased in both units.

Hi thx1138! No there's not many 7th gens here. A few 4 doors and a couple of 5 doors. We don't have the coupe at all over here. And no modified 7th gens There is one that have the oem side skirts but other than that.. no. Anyway I live on an island so I have no idea how it looks on the mainland.

Apart from the 3 door and 5 door, I think it's so strange that we only have the coupes and you only get the sedan. France and Italy for instance don't get either and Portugal only gets the sedan. Some strange ideas at Honda Europe there are.

hey, i got a Q for you actually. do you scrape at all with your sideskirts?? i mean i just saw this kit in person on a car, and the car wasnt even lowered and those things are sitting pretty low to the ground. but yours is even lowered, so im wondering if you've had any probs. just asking cause im thinking of getting the xenon sides and rear maybe in the future.

I've only scraped it on a really high speedbump once. But normal bumbs and such hasn't been a problem if you go slow.
